#1 in 103 countries (record) and projected to debut with 600,000 copies (highest female this year) with absolutely no promotion. Not only that but it isn't even available physically and it debuted 3 days after the sales week had already begun.

BeyonSLAY indeed.

Happily eating crow for all the trash I was talking. Huge risk, huge reward, and brilliantly executed all around. Conceptionalizing this as a visual album really enhanced the music and these have to be the strongest videos she has ever released. It's hard not to admire this woman's work ethic alone. Get it Bey!

It's going to take some time for the new album to 'grow' on me, I think. None of the songs are giving me that new-song-excitement feeling yet.

However, I can see why some fans are loving it so far. It's just not my cup of tea, atm.

Yeah, like you, nothing on this CD really "pops" out at me... there's no wow factor other than she released it without any leak or warning. I was waiting for a Freakum Dress or Party, or 1+1, or, even though I'm tired of this song, Halo... but it's just kinda straight forward.

Basically.

Holy shit. The Queen (Madonna) went to and called Beyonce Queen B after the latter kissed Madonna's daughter Mercy James.
Lol. Goop must be shitting lmao.

ugh...Beyonce was in Boston last night at the Garden...knew I was missing that....BUT then I find out after the fact that she was at the Walmart 2 towns over from me...just showed up and started handing out $50 gift cards to people as she pushed a cart around!

^^ awww, that's awesome! I would have liked to have seen that!

btw, I am starting to "feel" some of the songs a bit now. "No Angel" is my shit!!!! I've had that song on repeat for the last couple of days. I think it's going to become one of my favorite Bey tracks period.

This. Although I think 4 is still my favorite album all around, this CD is still pretty amazing.

"I felt like I wanted follow in the footsteps of Madonna and be a powerhouse and have my own empire," she said to cheers from the crowd. "And (to) show other women when you get to this point in your career, you don't have to go sign with someone else and share your money and your success, you can do it yourself."

When did this Madonna - Beyonce lovefest come about?

"4" is also my fave Beyonce record - thought it was artistically daring.

^Yeah, easily this year's best album from all the pop gals combined. Her latest and "4" are her only two albums that I can listen to from start to finish. I think these two albums cement her being much more then a single's-artist, both just feel a lot of thought went into making them good as a whole. Still boppin'.

Yoncè all on his mouth like liquor.

I'm definitely a fan. I think with the release of BEYONCE' she has taken it to another level.
