Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Well, he's more famously the villain in Shakespeare's Othello -- which is intriguing since that play is also froth with white/black issues (Disney loves referencing Shakespeare, which is why Ariel is named after the spirit in The Tempest and the plot of The Lion King is basically a happier, lamer version of Hamlet) -- but yes, the line I used was specifically when the bird in Aladdin would work himself up and Jafar would have to calm him down ;)
That's one of the Shakespeare plays we didnt have to read. I heard of it though. ANd saw the craptastic O with Julia Stiles.

But I still disagree slightly with you and falcon, of course. I think Dan is the only dangerous floater. Angie still seems to have her head up her ass. I havent seen otherwise on the feeds. Ollie I wouldnt call a floater for the simple fact that has April attached to him like barnacle. I don't know why the other dont want to put Ollie and April up first. They're always gonna want to keep each other as long as possible. Seems like a no brainer.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

About as often as you spell and punctuate incorrectly. That last sentence is missing its period by the way. (*8*)

It's not that I spell incorrectly and forget punctuation as mush as everything I say is one long poem which bears a remarkable resemblance to prose but in not actually being prose is not bound by the grammatical rules of prose ;)

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Jessie is up in HOH with Keesha trying to convince her that she's being used by Libra and April (and totally not grasping that that's exactly the perception of events Keesha is trying to create)

Libra and April went up to HOH and Keesha asked them if they could give her five minutes with Jessie. Jessie's just kind of rambling about something. Libra and April are whispering. I can't here. All I heard was "three against three" and "Dan" several times.

Yeah I need to pick a feed because I can't hear them both but Keesha keeps assuring Jessie that he's not her target.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Jessie pushing so hard to get Libra evicted this week will either result in Libra getting backdoored, or Jessie pushing too hard and getting himself evicted, IMO. Either way, it's a total win/win situation and I think it's glorious!

Keesha just needs to stop talking to Libra/April. The longer she's around them, the more she spills. I swear, she changes her mind and changes her gameplay every five minutes depending on who she's talking to. One minute she's 100% set to getting April out, the next minute she wants Libra out. I think she's far too easily influenced. The last person who speaks to her will be the person whose plan she goes with.

It's really impossible to read her. You need to wait until she's alone with Renny.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

I couldn't agree more! LOL. Can you imagine Jesse's eviction interview though?

Julie: So um...(glances at card)...Jesse?

Jesse: Uh...I think that's my name.

Julie: Why do you think you're sitting here?

Jesse: Cuz I was evicted

Julie: (blinking a few times) Um...right, but why?

Jesse: I dunno, I guess I could have worked out more. But you guys didn't give me all the equipment I asked for.

Julie: So you're saying...

Jesse (cuts her off to flex): Wanna go to the gunshow Julie?

That could never be a conversation with Jessie there's no use of the word "respect"

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

I think that Keesha is pissed that Angie has Steven's bandanna and this is where all this is coming from.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

I think veto is going on

Players (I think): Keesha, Angie, Jessie, Memphis, Libra, Ollie.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Keesha would be an idiot to get rid of Libra. Libra is not at all going after her, prolly till the very end. I don't think his argument was good at all.Pushing so hard to keep Angie is just makes it look like they're so desperate to keep their alliance intact. Only an idiot would keep an alliance like that in the game. Libra is totally on her side and will always be a bigger target.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Right, people should be putting them up and targeting them but...think about it, no one is putting them up and tageting them! And even if they were put up, you can bet the farm that April would be evicted and Ollie would be forgotten the very next week. Because Ollie? Is totally invisible at this point and that's even more dangrous than a floater. I mean does anyone think that guy can't win a crucial competition at the end? This isn't exactly Survivor level of difficulty in terms of comps. (In fact I'm often amazed when these houseguests can't do better in some of these brainless competitions, but then I guess with the kinds of people they cast on BB, I should just be grateful 90% of them aren't illiterate) Ollie is a huge threat to win this game. HUGE. (And incidentally, become the first non-white/non-Asian to win BB) If anyone else likes half a million dollars, they need to recognize that ASAP.
Yea you're right about Ollie. He really isn't on anyone's list. he's prolly the only person people don't talk about getting rid of.

The argument was quite by accident good because it was aimed at Keesha. Keesha despises being told what to do. Thus pointing out that Libra is telling her what to do will resonate a bit. The best part of his argument was when he mentioned Steven. Keesha is an emotional player, the kind who might go against her interest out of blind vengance. I promise that when Keesha is alone with the furniture (Renny) she'll ask about the discussion where they told Jessie who to put up last week. She'll ask if Libra was the one pushing for Steven.

In truth though they were ALL pushing for Steven except Jessie so....

It's entirely in Keesha's best interest to keep Libra.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

So Michelle was right all along. Her bitching wasn't for nothing.

Jesse will go straight after Keesha if she gets rid of Michelle. He'll at least put her up. Would the house really get rid of Michelle over Jesse though? She's a bigger threat because she appears to be less of a threat even though she's the best competitor for the girls and probably has the best chance in the house at winning endurance since muscles usually get in the way.

Hopefully Libra is backdoored.

NO Michelle thought she was the target like this whole week was about getting her out (because Michelle is so special). If this happens it's just a speed bump in Keesha's plan.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

NO Libra and April were both pushing for Angie initially. So it isnt exactly a lie. Once Jessie said he wanted Steven gone on his own and he refused to put up Angie. Then wants it was settled on Steven they agreed WITH Jessie itwould be better to get rid of him.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Renny wasn't up there though and she'll probably tell her that so Keesha will probably believe Libra. Jessie was telling the truth when he said it was Libra's idea to put up and evict Steven but he messed up about saying Angie was up there when the decision was being made when she wasn't. Libra lied when she said it wasn't her idea.

6 people up there: Jesse/Memphis/Michelle/April/Libra/Ollie. They started talking right after everyone saw the HOH room and Jerry left. I don't know where Dan and Steven were but Keesha/Renny/Angie were talking in the BackYard couch.

Yeah I thought so. I didn't think Angie was up there either and Keesha specifically asked. But Jessie said everyone but Steven/Dan/Keesha were up there.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

These people are a trip, they are always trying to make it seem like Libra is the mastermind behind everything in the house, when everyone knows last week Libra wanted Angie on the block first not Steven.

MJM did not want Angie on the block so they put Steven up, and it was Michelle who wanted Steven out more than Dan when they first went on the block.

It was pretty unanimous. April and Libra definitely have been wanting to get at Angie for a while and were cockblocked by Jessie in HOH but the house a whole wanted Steven out before Dan. They were all laughing about it the night he lost the HOH almost instantaneously. That really can't be blamed on any one person

That being said it is clear Libra is in charge of the L/A/O/K alliance just as it is clear Memphis is the head of the M/M/J/A alliance.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Keesha won veto

She's talking to Renny. Seems like she still plans on getting rid of Angie

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Jessie and Angie are whispering talking about sitting down with Keesha together.

Libra is freaking out because apparently this week Memphis played too hard for the veto. (I feel like this is going to be a recurring issue for her)

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Libra reminds me of an old roommate I screwed back in the day.

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

Jessie's also been talking about putting up Ollie/April

Re: The Official "Big Brother 10" Discussion Threa

April and Keesha are now discussing how there's no reason at all to get rid of Libra because she needs them and therefore will never go after them. They're discussing that now they've just learned to completely tune her out and accept that they need her because she's good at competitions. Keesha notes that Libra's scared now and she's sucking up to her.

They say that Jessie is really gunning for Libra now. Apparently Michelle and Jerry whispered something. April suggests they intimidating him later to find out what it was. Ollie enters and now they're back to Libra bashing. They say any three of them can go up against her and win. They agree that they all gave her a word and they can't go back on it and just need to hope someone else puts her up and someone else will.
