Aijalon, I thought we were "cool" enough that I could make an obvious joke like "You were wrong" without you getting upset (did you not notice that I began the post by complimenting you for being correct on issues of race and gender?) but...I'm sorry I misjudged that one. I should have known since you like Kaysar that you would rather have a humorless response from me (that too was a joke by the way).

And you failed to address the merits of my argument which were chiefly about Kaysar's
gameplay. Not his looks or attractiveness (which I did credit him with by the way, if you had read my post carefully) but his gameplay. I was replying to your ridiculous assertion that a guy who was evicted three times before sequester in less than a year was somehow just "unlucky." Which is of course a laughably incorrect analysis in and of itself, but I decided to actually show you why it was incorrect rather than dismissively stating, "You realize how empty this argument is right?"
And I addressed both of your points about going after James and Sarah in S6, and going after the floaters in S7, and exactly why those were the wrong decisions, not because of something I saw as a viewer but because of what an obvious/logical weighing of options would lead a truly smart player to deduce (or even a halfway decent player). But instead of looking carefully at those points, you just responsed with the same assertion you made the first time (and one that I had so clearly refuted) so I guess there's no point in arguing this further.
FalconFan is right that this is a message board and anyone can respond, you and I are not having a private discussion here, and he is also right that you cannot fall behind impotent arguments like "Well...you weren't there in the game" or "It was bad luck." Please. These kinds of arguments aren't just "bad", they are also lazy and intellectually dishonest. If we are going to play this game (of analyzing the merits of players) then it must be fair. There have to be rules. We cannot "cheat" by relying on these empty, vague and lazy modes of analysis. Because then quite reasonably, if anything at all can be chalked up to bad luck and nothing can be known because none of us were there, then NONE of our discussions about BB strategy and gameplay would have any meaning. If my post originally sounded condescending, it was because the basic premise was so infantile ("It was bad luck!") that it deserved an infantilizing response.
Also, you were perfectly happy when I was deploying these logical tactics at the service of an argument you favored (race relations on BB/Steven etc) but come on, we are adults and we must play these games likes adults. Principles only mean something if you stick by them when they are
inconvenient. Just because you disagree with me on this topic doesn't mean you should disregard the method of my analysis or response. Because you applauded this very mode of analysis when the argument was something you agreed with, so if you dismiss it now, it undermines the validity of our original alliance (on the topic of race), you see?
