I for one think it's just as engaging as ever. It lagged in the beginning but since Jessie's eviction it's become increasingly interesting as a group of intelligent, capable players are all trying to angle it towards their advantage. To me good players with conflicting interests make a show much more interesting than someone being loud and bossy

Who do you consider intelligent in the house? Or capable besides maybe Memphis and Dan?

Yea but everyone has their own opinion of what makes a good player. Also this isnt just a game, it's a tv show. Entertainment is important. But like I said, I think it's a cultural thing tbh. Different strokes for different folks.

Exactly. People that hated Dick were looking for a friend. Dick was an atrocious person. That goes without saying. But damn, he made good TV.

And the people seem to agree with me.

My cousin and I used to trade YouTube clips of the show. She hasn't been answering my messages (thank God for a BlackBerry that tells you when your message has been read... hmmm maybe she saw "Big Brother" in the subject line and hit delete).

That's funny about you stop DVRing the show. I ordered ShowTime east to watch BB After Dark. I paid $25 for August. Won't renew that for next month.

That's funny. Before school I used to skip at the highest speed on the DVR for last season in hopes of seeing some fighting or nudity during those three hours. I don't want to see any nudity from this year's cast and the fighting has all but died since Libra left.

$25 dollars down the drain. I would have rather watch my 25 dollars being shredded in the garbage disposal. That would have been more interesting than the latest BB ADs.

Yea i don't think it is all Libra either. I think most of this cast wasnt really my cup of tea. As much as I hated Dick violating my Jen, I take him or the friendship over these goons. I'd even take those ridiculous whores from bb9. You'd think there was only four people left it's so dry in there.
I kinda had a feeling this would happen when they cast Jerry and they only put 13 people start. There's really not much diversity. For fuck's sake Libra, Jerry, and Steven all live in the same area. And April and Keesha are pretty much the same person.

But I guess you can watch those town hall meeting till school starts. And I think Bill Maher starts soon.

At least the Democratic National Convention starts next week. And the Olympics are on for a few more days. I guess this is something on TV to look forward too.

Yeah Dick throwing that water was crimminal. I've seen people arrested for screaming out profanities and some asshole can pour water over a person on TV?

I think I too lumped Keesha and April together.

Also, Ollie and Jessie are both from very rural areas of the country. Forgot that one huh .

Ugh shouting matches are boring, unproductive, and ultimately repetitive. I don't get why you would want that... you can just keep rewatching the Libra/Keesha/April fight if that's all your interesting because when you leave irrational angry bitches together that's all it would be... that over and over and over again.

As for a lack of people to hate I can only assume that's the result of only watching the edited shows. Trust me April and Jerry are plenty to hate.

Jerry's annoying but harmless.

April's a slut but harmless.

If I had to hate sluts and annoying people, I'd be miserable.

Wow.

Dude... Dan, Memphis, Keesha and even April have been playing very strong games.

Renny, Ollie and Michelle have been playing good games

Jerry's the only one who's truly sucking.

Most importantly though they all have very separate ideas of who they want to see in the end game and they're all trying their best to make it happen. That makes the show SO much more interesting than pre-Jessie evictions when they were just plodding along with a herd mentality.

Oh yeah cuz that's always filled with intellectually stimulating discourse.

Obama is the first real intellectual candidate we've had in a really long time. Other than him (and his wonderful speeches), the conventions on both sides tend to be labored, tedious, repetitive and pointless.

I think I'm a budding politician. The conventions get my juices going.

Unfortunately, we have to wait every four years like the Olympics.

And the intellectual part about Obama is why I like him so much. No longer will our head of state be a laughingstock. Even McCain is a big improvement from Bush, but comparing anyone's intelligence to Bush's isn't saying much.
