This is the first season that I have followed BB on an ongoing basis. I'd seen a few random episodes before, but never really got interested in the show. I'm really enjoying watching the show and following along in this forum to see what you BB veterans have to say. I have a ton of questions, too. For example, I've been really surprised by how much the edited version on CBS differs from what I see on BBAD and read about here from the the live feeds. Are they always so heavy-handed in the way they create specific character types out of the houseguests?

No no, the camera was on him only and I think he thought that everyone was finally sleeping, so I saw him going at it down there but then Keesha piped up and started talking again so he stoped. It's a pattern all night. They'll talk, it'll die down for a minute or two, and then right when they're falling asleep Keesha asks some random question.

And I have said for months, ask any regular in the political forum, that Obama and Clinton are identical on a lot of issues minus Iraq. Obama was always right on Iraq. And Obama has a billion times more integrity than Clinton. There are a billion other reasons why Obama is the DNC choice that I think are too numerous to go into now.

Just ask IC07 or Midnight if my statement aboves has shifted from anything I have said in the past.

I'll paraphrase what I have been saying for months. With Hillary and Obama's positions on various issues near identical (minus Iraq), this race has become a personality race. Hillary's pandering to certain people shows a lot about her character. Google her race based attacks in South Carolina and Penn and Ohio for example. Why didn't she make these accusations in certain states?

Why was she making race based comments about Obama's electibility in West Virginia (the least educated state in the country) and totally neglecting Oregon (the most educated state in the country) when they were the only two states holding primaries and caucuses on that day? The polls also I would like to add had Clinton ahead in WV by twenty something percentage points. Why would she continue campaigning in a place where she had a huge lead and ignore Oregon a state where she was losing to Obama by just single digits?

She knew educated people wouldn't accept those comments from a presidential candidate. She knew her audience so she stayed in WV and continued her racist comments.

If she wasn't the female and democratic version of Mitt Romney maybe she'd be in Obama's position.

Again this is consistent with the things I have been saying for months.

Dude Adam got fired for that... which is precisely my point. Just because Adam was too dumb to anticipate the outcome of his actions doesn't mean Dan is that stupid.

If you didn't rely on Alison Grodner to spoon feed you her version of reality you'd see that it is indisputable that Dan's actions are confined by the fact he's being watched. For Christ sake he sneaks alcohol in coffee mugs.

And what makes the least sense to me is how you come in here knowing others have seen far more unedited footage and try to contend that we don't know what we're talking about. You can't rely on the edited show for an accurate representation of events, that's like relying on the American news media to form opinions of what's happening in the world

As for the politics I'm not getting into here and there's no need to because it's transparent. Your initial statement, that they're nearly identical, is accurate and you were blind to that because you've got a fucking boner for Obama. Being the masterful politician he his he played you like he plays everyone else to the point where you didn't even care to think logically and simply saw things in a dichotomy of Obama or not Obama. Because he stroked your 'intellectual' ego telling you how intellectual is. He played off your underlying resentments by focusing to get you nodding and agreeing with him just as he's done to other groups when condemning black fathers. Yet now that Clinton's not in your way anymore you really could care less about her and feel no need to concoct ways to sling such vitriol at her.

But I digress... I the point is that it is absolutely absurd that you after all the trash you've talked, all the differences you've created between them, and all your months of derogatory comments and complaints are actually trying to claim that another person, Dan, MUST see them as interchangable.

Sweetheart, FalconFan's point was that you spent a long time trashing Hillary Clinton (I didn't like her either) and even calling her a "bitch" several times, and then you turned around and said she and Obama were no different so Dan had no right to say what he said about her. No, they are different in very few aspects. Policy wise, even by their own admissions, they're nearly identical. They disagree on smaller details. They're both for us getting out of Iraq and universal health care for example. They just have different ideas about how to do these things.

To me, the Iraq war support from Hillary is enough to not support her. But like Obama, Hillary (now all of a sudden) wants to get out of Iraq. They're identical even on that only differing in that Obama never supported the war.

The Iraq war is clearly a non-issue to Dan (I'm assuming he's supporting that hawk McCain).

I don't think Dan's holding a grudge on Hillary for supporting the war and then now not supporting the war. He hasn't said he'd leave the country if Obama was elected. So I'm curious what is it about Hillary that would make him say such a thing?

If it's her personality, I agree maybe his statement has some validity to it. But I know how warped some Catholics' minds are... like my grandmother. She's in the Bible belt and has always voted Democratic and even supported Hillary but I couldn't help but to cringe every time she said the Bible made woman to aid man, which means due to Hillary being a woman, she can't have a leadership role over men (therefore the country).

She passively supported Hillary and I'd think if Hillary was a man, she would have been more vocal in her support.

My grandmother adheres to Catholocism. So does Dan. It's not a stretch that her gender is an issue to Dan.

of course they all have jobs, but do they really care about their jobs? Dan is a teacher, which is most likely his chosen career for the rest of his life. I dont see why he should have to mess up his life for your entertainment.

FINALLY! God, something we can agree on 100%! Now it feels like 2006 again (or whenever it was we last spoke). Yes I completely agree about Hillary and her hideous support for the war, and I agree that she and Obama are not fundamentally that different.

However, reading through some of your quotes that FalconFan provided, I don't think the war was the only reason you opposed her. So maybe Dan has identical legitimate reasons too? And since you spent months trashing her -- and not just for the war -- why would you then jump all over a guy who also has problems with her candidacy?

It's Big Brother. I'm shocked if 200 people are watching the show, PERIOD.

In last week's top 30 BB10 had 3 spots. So it's not exactly a bomb now is it? It is being seen on network tv by millions. I don't know about the feeds but SHO ad gets a bunch of people that are insomniacs and those who hope they'll see something good. The hide and seek last night was fun as they all ran crazily around Ollie and April in the hot tub.
