high school and I wouldn't have had any problem being on a team with Ronnie or Lab-coat Lady. Then or now.

this really would've been the best season to get your ass on here seeing as the only way this would be fair, because the competitions are BOUND to be more slanted to physical tasks as they always are, is if each click had a token strong athlete who is also smart or popular or "off-beat." and to be fair all the jocks shouldn't be total meatheads.

Point is you'd be perfect representative for the brains team that could also compete in challenges... you should've had Erika hook you up.

Yea she didnt have to say a lot of that but I really think it was out of frustration of being on Michele and Ronnie's team which I can definitely sympathize with. It seems like instead of yelling at them she just vented a little. I personally would have a problem being on Ronnie and Michele's team. During the challenges they look like bumbling fools. it is obvious they just tacked her onto the Brains team because she's the black girl. If I was in her shoes I'd feel the same way and be a little pissed about it. She should have been on the popular team. She's a fuckin sorority girl. They just want to cleave to the visual stereotype that popular in America= white girl with long hair and big tits.

Did I miss a DR where Chima expressed being upset with having Ronnie and Michele on her team or something? I ask because I missed the first five minutes of Sunday's episode and am without feeds this years (though I did get to see After Dark). Has there been any kind of interactions that make it seem like she's upset being with them or are you just positing the sentiments you think you'd have onto her?

If anynoe seems like the odd person out it's Madame Curie. Chima and Ronnie seem to be always plotign with the jocks while Curie is off... idk putting up wallpaper maybe?

I agree on Danielle but I have always disagreed on the Libra thing. I dont think Keesha played a better game than Libra skillwise. I always maintained that her blonde hair made people treat her differently than they did Libra. Even people on the boards were willing to forgive how awful she was in the beginning just because she cozyed up to gay racist Steven any time April pissed her off.

Really... because here I thought Keesha got smashed by April/Michelle far harder than Libra did precisely because she was petite blond and stacked. What was so off putting about Libra to everyone in the house was the fact she was just so damn loud and shouted about everythign putting herself in the center of attention and then she'd yell at them about how it wasn't fair she was the center of attention while Keesha quite elegantly shifted sides at just the right time adn almost managed to keep herself in a 1/2spot of a majority alliance but was ultimately felled by her blindspot for Memphis.

I kinda see what your saying but I'm sticking to my guns here. I would definitely not say that if she was on the popular as opposed to the brains. But compared to the 2 other brains she does not fit. They are both really nerdy socially awkward brains. One of the brains is a nuclear physicist or something. she just took AP classes in high school. If she was an entomologist and they put her on the popular team then you would have a point, but she's not.

Chima is a journalist... which though not science is also a very academic profession. Also I believe she said she graduated in the top of her class.

Just because someone's a "nuclear physicist" doesn't mean they're "socially awkward" and I don't understand why you're assuming that Madame Curie fits teh classification. She seems to interact with everyone just fine from what I see.

Jordan is hands down the most loveable HG in this season. She's so sweet and pure and it really shines through.

The fights today were SO EPIC. Woke me up from my nap and nothing is usually able to wake me up.

I hate Lydia more and more every minute. She's just a liar.

I don't think Michelle hindered the 'Have or Have Not' competition. It was clearly Ronnie who ruined it, as usual taking charge when he knows nothing. That was a task they could've really won and he blew it.

It is obvious that she was upset with being on the geek team. It was clear how disappointed she was when they were the first 2 to drop out so early on the HOH. And she didnt get pissed until after she learned what have nots would suffer through. But this was all at the beginning anyway and since then she has coped quite well with being on her team considering Ronnie is so messy and Michele is a basket case.

Yes. And while aijalon's general point is a good one (about society reacting differently to a blond white girl vs. a black girl), it's not completely applicable to this situation because in order to make that case, the variables would have to be similar. And they're not. Libra did nothing to endear herself to these people, and clearly played a worse game than Keesha (who smartly and actively LET people like Libra and April take the fall for her).

And let's not forget that April was also a blond white chick (just like Keesha) and didn't benefit extra from it. Had Libra/Keesha/Rennie/Dan/Memphis won that HOH right after Jessie's eviction, you can bet your sweet ass April would have been evicted before Libra. And once again, Keesha's good gameplay allowed her to position herself in a better place than April. The fact that Libra and April were both targets while Keesha was able to get herself to F4 and appear less threatening/less obnoxious than both of them, is indicative of how well Keesha played. Saying she didn't play well and only got there by being blond and white is

1. To not understand the nuances of the game and what good play is and
2. Reductive and blatantly untrue since it didn't help April who went out right after Libra and would have gone out before Libra, had the HOH result been different after Jessie's eviction.

No I think Keesha was a good player but not as good as she is given credit for. I think her endearing herself to people more than April and Libra was not a conscious choice but merely the result of her needing people to vent about April to. SHe even started that with Steven when Steven had no power and was on his way out. She just needed a sounding board to trash April really anyone would do. Luckily it this endeared her to other April haters in the house.

Keesha and April are basically the same person except April had Ollie to back her up and Keesha had no one. I think if keesha at a bf in the house instead of April she would have been in April's shoes and April would have been in hers.

I don't have pictures or anything, but something like this happened. My memory is really fuzzy right now....

Round 1:
Braden vs Lydia/Kevin

Braden called out Lydia for being a "skank, whore and slut" (claimed by Lydia)
Lydia was like whatever, with her attitude being I'm off the block and you're on it and you're likely to go home. Braden got pissed so he bitched at Kevin. Lydia stood up for Kevin and had a small argument before Braden called Kevin a 'beaner'. Kevin exploded and a war of screaming and swearing began.

Kevin: "But... I'm not even Mexican..." (in his whiny girly voice when he left the yard and went back into the house)
Braden chuckles

Round2:
Lydia/Kevin vs Jeff

Jeff went out and supposedly "hung out" with Braden after his racist remarks. The cam, however, was centered in on Lydia/Kevin bashing Braden with the other houseguests. Something about Jordan came up, I think maybe it had something to do with Jeff warning Jordan that she might beon the block but did not warn Lydia... it was confusing. >__<

So Jordan told Jeff what's happening between Kevin/Lydia and he went in. Another big yelling war. Kevin called out on Jeff for ignoring the fact that they were going to put up Lydia and Jeff did not bother warning her, but rather 'he wanted tuna'. Jeff was rather inarticulate when he was talking, but despite that he was still better then Kevin/Lydia simply because they were stirring shit up. Lydia kept on complaining about Jeff didn't treat her as a friend. Jeff ended by basically saying he treated Lydia as a friend until she swapped teams or something, and Lydia just stormed off.

Jordan was then complaining to Casey, Michele, Chima, and someone else(I think) about how it's unfair that people are getting pissed at her because she's friends with Jeff who is supporting Braden for his racist remarks. In essence, it really shows Jordan's purity because she just said what was on her mind. Casey seemed to agree with her about the fact that no one really talks with Jeff/Braden in the house.

Lydia comes in and starts a yelling war.
Round 3
Lydia vs Jordan---> leading to Lydia/Kevin vs Jordan

The two girls screamed and screamed about something... I think it had something to do with Jeff/Braden. Jordan was like "I've always made an effort to talk to you!!!"
Lydia was "NO you DIDN't. NOT AFTER THE VETO CEREMONY!!!"
Ughhh I don't remember much, but I do remember it was very trivial. The screaming ended as Lydia apologized to Jordan. (WOW, she knows how to apologize? ) Jordan became more and more upset and the fact that everyone drags her into the shit caused by Jeff/Braden and she finds this unfair JUST because she talks to them. Kevin begins a small lecture on her about that's how people treat the game, any association could mean a lot more. Lydia and Kevin talk to her more about all the Jeff/Braden hating. Jordan leaves.

Later, Jordan was crying in the hammock by herself.

Jordan is pure loveable. She's stuck in a house with crazy bipolar people and it sucks for her because she isn't very good at this game. Sorry about the vagueness.... it was hilarious to watch though.

OH. Ronnie was seen during the second fight as he was "cleaning the kitchen". While reading the chat on the live feed, people seem to agree that Kevin exploding was a bad move and planted a target on his back. The whole three fights lasted a good 90 minutes, people on the live feed were joking about how they're going to include it all on Thursday. Not even first week over and big fights have begun.

Wow. First Jeff uses homophobic slurs and now Braden is using racist slurs? This is why I didn't jump on the Jeff/Braden bandwagons like some people in this thread. They always seemed like idiots and I knew in a couple of weeks -- if they were bigots -- some proof would surface (as it usually does in the BB House). So I reserved judgment.

That's your opinion and I have mine. I think they were awful catty bitches for the first few weeks. They both were constantly picking apart every little thing about other people in the house and past houseguests. They were equally bitchy and horrible for a long time. Eventually they started to disagree and Keesha started to cling to others. But I saw equally pathetic behavior from both of them.

But tbh I dont wanna continue to argue about those skanks from last season when there's a new shitstorm breweing.

Well this is last year all over again and Braden just signed his ticket home. Chima should be very happy. Moral of the story, seeing as I'm rooting for Michele and none of this matters very much for her game I don't really care too much.

I've not been watching these people as I did before so I don't know what Jordan has said or done or not done. I've seen no quotes or actions that have turned me off to her yet. I have to say though that I'm sad I don't want Jessie out next yet... Braden and Jeff had to work overtime to overcome my dislike for Jessie but somehow they've managed.. don't like Lydia either, can't stand Natalie... I think I might actually like Russel???? That's weird. Ronnie's adorable excitement has quickly faded, I could take or leave Chima and I'm left with only a tempered affection for Michele as I wait for her to burst out of the gates. I think I like Kevin?... maybe? I'm very confused I wish I could just watch it live so I could get a real feelign for their personalities
