Am I the only one who enjoys the long elaborate conversations integrating social relations into the voyeristic game structure of big brother?

I can't speak for anyone else, but whenever someone writes a novella on a message board, I generally ignore it. tl;dr (too long; don't read). Chalk it up to short attention span, and possibly laziness.

I just read on Jokers that Jordan told Laura if they get Casey's vote they'll have enough to evict Chima. Do you know if that's true or if she's being played?

I agree with this. I'd prefer if we had these off topic arguments in private chat. I prefer that on all boards.

Just like Big Brother is Big Brother. The House has flipped and now it looks like Chima is going home.

Michelle has joined the Jordan, Jeff, etc. Alliance and is planning to vote out Chima. It looks like Ronnie is on board but you never know with that Weasel. It looks like they just convinced Casey to vote for Braden with them promising not to put up Jesse next week cause Jesse did not put him up.

As of right now it looks like the votes are 6-4 in Braden's favor.

and Jordan just confirmed it that Casey's on board. The Wildcard here is Ronnie who know one knows for sure his true colors.

It looks like a flip is going into place. After Chima shouted at Michele, Michele seems to have hopped to the other side and taken Ronnie with her. Meanwhile Jordan and Jeff found Laura wandering around in the woods, where she was confused as to why the jocks disliked her (as am I really) and quickly got on board with operation save Braeden. The whole group of them felt Casey out to try and figure out if he'd go along with it and he seems on board. So I know that Jordan, Jeff, Laura, Michele, and Casey are serious I cna never tell what goes on in Ronnie's head... but I can't see why he would hang them out to dry. That just seems like a stupid move to make seeing if they keep Braden Jeff/Braden/Jordan will be waging a war on Lydia/Jessie/Russel and everyone else gets to nap.

If you don't like reading about an argument, my position is usually, just don't read it. It's not that hard to scroll down. And I also don't believe in censorship, nor do I think it's unnatural for these kinds of discussions to emanate from pop culture (in fact, I think they're healthy and what makes the board more interesting). In this case, I only reverted to PM because it seemed like all parties had said what they wanted to say, and all that was left was fine tuning the finer points, which is better served in a more interactive forum like AIM.

That's fine that you don't believe in censorship but I also don't believe in a topic going off topic and "derailing" especially when they can go on for pages like we've seen in the past. We could easily scroll past the posts which I do (not that I don't care, but that's not why I come here).

Don't forget Jub is Jub... it will get moderated. I just don't think a thread should be taken off topic.

I'm quoting myself 10 seconds after my post, but I'll change my stance a bit. I don't think a thread should go off topic, but if arguing about the people we talk about in a thread to consider if they may be racist or homophobic is considered on topic to me.

The debating and arguing therefore I think is fine.

I was just gonna say something similar. I think we all got a little intense and verbose, but it wasnt totally off topic. Things that happen in the game can sometimes lead to a bigger discussion.

But unfortunately I think I might be tuning out of BB soon since it looks like Chima will be getting evicted. As I've stated, she definitely isnt my favorite, but I honestly cant look at Braden or the housemates if they keep him.

Jessie approached Casey and asked if Russel was making deals. Casey told him he was and then for no reason at all volunteered that the populars and the brains want him to vote out Chima and that he wants Jessie's approval first. Jessie promises not to tell anyone and they say they'll talk about it later as Jordan enters.

I honestly dont recall if I said that last year. But I dont give 2 shits about Chima. I feel bad about her being raped by a serial killer but that's it. Now Ronnie's got Casey in the torture room and is reconfirming him. Casey's all aboard yessing him. He's saying he's 90% with them but in the interest of keeping the peace there's going to be explosions after and he'd try to get Russel to punch him if it'll send him home.

Ronnie is in the torture room with Chima and Jessie. He's telling Ronnie that Russel offered him a final three deal. Jessie invites Ronnie upstairs and Chima stays behind oblivious to the fact they intend to talk about getting rid of her.

I'm so tired of my black ppl giving off their attitudes so early in this game. Didn't Chima learn anything from watching this last year. The same thing happen to Libra. Once you start showing that attitude people will want you out. Now that Jordan and Michele have Casey on board it seems inevitable that Chima will be voted off.

Why are these people continuing to talk game to Ronnie? The guy talks game to everyone and plays that game 24/7, it 's really starting to annoy me to an extent that some ppl think Jessie ( who has a few fries short of an happy meal) is a major threat

There was a rumor going on online (since the beginning of the season) that Casey and Jessie knew each other before going into the House and therefore have a secret alliance (kinda like Boogie and Erika).

BB really needs to start ensuring that all the people entering the house don't know each other. This happens too often and it's annoying. This kinda shit doesn't happen on Survivor.

I don't know how true that is I'd need to see their evidence there's always crazy rumors about this stuff.

Ronnie just told Jessie that the only people he trusts in the house are Nat, Jess, and Chima. Jessie than 'warns' him that they're going to try and get him to turn. Ronnie acts like Jessie has nothing to worry about... and a commercial for Dexter comes on...
