Still doesn't make you better than any of them. That is my point. I'm not trying to bait you, but there's no need to consider yourself superior to those mentioned above. If i'm correct, you are a sportsman yourself. Do you see any of your accomplishments as a wrestler insignificantly? Whether you achieve success athletically, or intulectually, it is still an achievement.

Well I mean he's clearly calm more logical/sane. I totally get how he and Michele bonded. They seem to be the most analytical of the bunch.

Natalie did seem to hinder away from anything intelligent, and did seem to fear Michele. I can't recall her holding any sort of intellectually stimulating conversation, and she bashed Michele for having a PhD whenever she could.

I hate to defend Natalie but... if her only exposure to PhDs was at ASU....

And I was mainly talking about achievements outside of -- and more distinguished than -- sports.

Actually, the ASU forensics team is fairly well respected (that's the speech team, not dead bodies )

Not that I like Nat at all, but don't dis ASU..Not everyone can go to Yale. Good for you, that you do attend one of the Nation's top schools. But, It doesn't make you better than everyone else.

Look, and this should clear up what I was talking about. Nik said that she (Nat) went to a nothing school, and probably accomplished nothing academically. I was trying to point out that ASU is not a "nothing" school, and to stop being an elitist about where people attend college. Maybe a Phd from Yale where Nik attends, will get you in the door quicker, but it's not everything. That's all I'm going to say about it, b/c i feel like I'm hijacking the topic of BB. I just wanted to stick up for my friends @ ASU...

I'm not an elitist nor do I have a problem with ASU, though I'm not gong to pretend it's good school rather than a m'eh school, according to Princtonreview they accept 90% of applicants and their average SAT scores are firmly "middle" in all areas. I'm not saying that where you go is everything in life or that it's even an indicator of intelligence, Nik and I have actually had a multitude of in depth discussions where I have argued just the opposite view point. But that doesn't change the fact that ASU ISN'T a great school, nor does copying and pasting a list of NFL players who went there. And fact of the matter is it doesn't NEED to be a great school and one need not try to make that case to claim that someone from there can be just as successful as a PhD by making the simple argument that there's more to life than degrees. I mean that's a workable argument but if you keep pushing the ASU is a great school boulder up the hill it's only gonna slide back down to on you.

More to the point though, what I don't comprehend here is how this has ANYTHING to do with the fact Nik went to Yale. He said Nat was always making fun of or picking at the fact Michele has a PhD. Nat is likely just intimidated by the fact Nat's own academic achievements are ho-hum, as evidenced by her attendance of a middling college. That had nothign to do with him and everything to do with things he observed about people in the game and their actions towards each other.

It's just very strange behavior all the way around. I'm reminded by a classmate of mine in graduate school who was always reminding people that she was a college graduate; seeing as that was a prerequisite of the program, it was an odd thing to brag about.

The thing is that Natalie was always tearing down Michelle, presumably because she thinks that a PhD doesn't mean squat. At the same time she seemed to think that her degree from ASU entitled her to some kind of respect. Of course, that kind of inconsistency is typical.

I think that Jordan will blow through the money quickly, and she will be back being a waittress. This is just based on what she was saying at the finale. Cool if you want to put a down payment on the house, put a little money towards your nieces/nephews college education. But I can see her family coming out of the woods and asking her for money.

Jordan was a better player than Natalie. Natalie did nothing for 7 weeks but hang on Jessie and stink up the BB house. Jordan did the same but unlike Natalie was underestimated and used as a pawn. Natalie made one move, Russell/Michelle final 2 lie, which she did not come up with on her own. Jordan played a superior social game and did not make up a lie in the game *once*. That says a lot in my opinion. Also Jordan won the most important competitions on her own. Kevin should have won but Jordan outplayed Natalie.
