The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

CBS has started running an ad in which Julie says "one player is NOT in it to win it" and he/she will wreak havoc on the house.

Sounds like we have a saboteur. Fun, fun! Similar to America's Player except the person can't win the game.
 
Big Brother 12 Twist Revealed via Latest Commercial

The latest commercial for Big Brother 12 just aired and in it Julie revealed one of the twists this season. One of the player wills not be playing to win as they are a "saboteur". It seems like this will be a twist similar to America's Player, however that person is there simply to wreck havoc and will not be able to win the game. We hope to have the commercial for you in a few minutes, stay tuned!

More "House Details" Revealed
This isn't confirmed as CornerOffice has gone from confirmed legit to unconfirmed.

This year we've gone with darker colors accented with complimentary colors. Very sexy. But it's still BB and and there is plenty of colors popping out. We've had practice HGs playing the game to get the crew back in the habit. We're ready for the real HGs to get in there. It looks GREAT! We're very pleased.

In the kitchen is teal and yellow. The staircase is also yellow. A gaggle of flamingo lounge under the stairs.

Outside the HOH door, think Miami night life for the wall paper. Pink Neon by door. Palm trees that go all the way down and appear in the wall.

In the spa is a big 6 person bed.

My favorite room is the bathroom. Stripes of small yellow, black, and white tiles cover the walls. Will we have a Killer Bee alliance?

I wonder how this will work?

What happens if the saboteur is nominated?

Will they be allowed to make it to the end if they have no chance of winning the game? How will that affect the number of evictions? If they make it far enough (say... week four-ish) without getting caught or evicted, do they gain regular houseguest status and become eligible to win the $500,000? Will they be doing our bidding a-la "America's Player" or will they sabotage the game some other way?

So many questions. Sounds fun though!

Think he's coming back as the saboteur?

I wonder if the houseguests will be told there's a saboteur before they enter the house? That would certainly stir up paranoia right from the get-go.
 
Who will the saboteur take direction from? Us or the producers?

I need answers! LoL. Thankfully, we should know everything by Wednesday/Thursday.

I really don't see the point in including Russell. Sure, it worked for the 20th Survivor because the people hadn't seen him. Most people that join reality shows are viewers themselves.

Russell would just get voted out like...the first day.
 
I have to agree with Callum. I would vote him out in a New York minute.

The producers need to keep their hands out of the cookie jar and let the players play the game. It's what made BB10 and 11 so popular.

Since the average BB houseguest is significantly dumber than the average Survivor castaway (really, we're talking brain damage levels here), I think he could make it far.

Also, the producers always pull out all the stops to keep their twists in the House.

Which is exactly why I DON'T want to see Russell's fat ass roll into the BB House. It's bad enough having to watch and listen to him on an edited show; imagine having to stomach that shit on the live feeds? I'd cancel my subscription.

BB12 will feature fourteen houseguests. Fantastic! :)

I don't want audience participation to overrun the game. I hope it stays relatively house-centered.

The only problem with this twist is that ever since America's Player, there has been paranoia amongst the HG's that there's a mole in the house. Remember Michelle's meltdown during BB10 when she thought Dan was a mole/plant? They were even skeptical about his girlfriend and his career as a teacher.

The houseguests will have their guards up and they'll be looking for something like this... which might make the twist less effective. The minute something is sabotaged they'll know something is up and they'll work overtime to figure it out. Then again, we don't really know how it'll all play out because no details have been released yet. Either way, I can't wait to watch.
