The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

I always say this prior to the season actually beginning, but I'm not sure how I'm going to like season 12. Personally, last season was the best in a while and the cast was exceptional together meaning the alliances, fights, etc. Having that being said, hopefully I will begin to like it more once it begins and it won't be a season 9 travesty.

SN: Is Salemite "Kennylicious"? I rarely keep up with usernames, but I did keep up with his b/c he had all of BB updates as does Salemite as of now?

From Annie's SuperPass interview...

- Her biggest fear is having to live in the house with a bunch of angry, racist, prejudice people.

- Her favorites from past seasons are Evel Dick...

So my favorite as of now is Hagan. He seems funny and whimsical. I think I like Rachel, but I don't really know yet either. The rest of the cast though seem rather bland. Hopefully the premiere will change my opinion though.

'Big Brother 12's' Hayden's strategy is to 'work over some of the female contestants'

Meet Hayden Moss, a 24-year-old college student from Arizona State University (and baseball player) and one of the newest "Big Brother 12" contestants.

When asked why he wanted to do "Big Brother," he says, "It's the event of a lifetime. I really thought it'd be a great time" and "I'm most excited about the chance to win half a million bucks."

His favorite player of all time is Jeff from "Big Brother 11." "I think I can relate to him," says Hayden. "He just seems like a down-to-earth guy."

Chima is his least favorite -- he can't stand her "terrible" personality. In that same vein, he is not looking forward to being trapped in the "BB" house with "people who are rude" and people who don't pick up after themselves.

And finally, his strategy is to "work over some of the female contestants." Considering his charm and good looks, we think that's probably a solid way to go.

'Big Brother 12's' Kathy: Deputy sheriff, ovarian cancer survivor

Kathy Hillis is the "old" one of the "Big Brother 12" house guests at the ripe old age of 40. Find out what her strategy is going to be coming in as the oldest, a deputy sheriff and an ovarian cancer survivor.

What made Kathy want to be on "Big Brother" was an illness, but not her own. "When my grandma was terminally ill, we used to watch 'Big Brother' together ... when she passed away, I started applying. I applied for five years and now I made it on."

Her favorite player is Evel Dick. "He's just an awesome player, he played the game. I wouldn't want to be in the house with him cause he like terrorized everybody, but it worked for him. He did an awesome job."

Ronnie from "Big Brother 11" was her least favorite player. "He over-played the game and he was very annoying to me. I know that's mean to say, but he was annoying to me."

Kathy listed on her application that her biggest accomplishment was surviving ovarian cancer. She talks about how being surrounded by loved ones is what pulled her through and she told us off-camera that she didn't expect to see the age of 30, let alone 40, so she's proud to be 40 years old. Her strategy is that she's not gonna lie about what she does for a living and she's "going to have fun and going to be [herself]."

I love Ragan already. :rotflmao: "Thank you for your question!"

Andrew, oh the confidence in him is so hot. שָׁלוֹם Shalom

Enzo is INSANE! I love it, he is going to be so entertaining.

What is wrong with Kristen's left eye? It seems like it's always closed or something. I feel like when she talks she looks like she's twitching or something haha

Regan seems hilarious, but I feel like he could get annoying really quickly

Does Rachel remind anyone else of a red headed Brooke Hogan?

Big Brother 12 Houseguests move in on Saturday

JokersUpdates.com can now reveal that the Big Brother baker’s dozen will be moving into the Big Brother 12 house on Saturday. A source from within the Big Brother compound has confirmed the latest batch of hamsters will be stepping foot inside the Big Brother house sometime Saturday afternoon.

It has already been a busy week for Big Brother fans and the houseguests. On Monday, the houseguests took part in media interviews, which are finally starting to air on the internet through various outlets. On Tuesday night CBS revealed the Big Brother 12 twist through a series television advertisements. The Saboteur, whose sole purpose is to wreak havoc inside the house, will be revealed on July 15th.

Then on Wednesday a major download of information came as a series of house photos and the full cast list were released to the public for the first time.

After spending a full week in individual sequester, the Big Brother 12 houseguests will finally begin playing the game tomorrow.

What sort of alliances will they form? Who will become the first Head of Household and who will they nominate? We are going to have to tune in on Thursday to find out all those details (unless of course that leaks!)

Stay Tuned!

From Andrew's SuperPass interview...

- He was born and raised in Miami Beach, FL. He's a podiatrist and he has a 9-year old daughter.

- His strategy for winning the game is to read people's emotions (he claims to be very observant) and to keep calm in situations that would normally make people flustered.

- He's a poker player.

- He's a long-time fan of the show and he plans to play the game like Kaysar, Dr. Will, Chicken George and Russell Hantz from Survivor. "I'll say anything and do anything -- trust no one."

- He doesn't plan to be a bitter jury member if he makes it that far. "If you outplay me, kudos to you. That's part of the game. The winner deserves to win no matter how much they lied. I don't like people who ride coattails and play under the radar."

- "I hate blond dimwits who are unintelligent. I really have a problem with stupid blondes who are materialistic and care more about their looks than the moves they're making in the game. I really hate stupid mistakes in the game. It aggravates me more than not eating."

- If he wins the first HOH, he plans to nominate any combination of the house idiot, the house bully or a smoker.

- His biggest fear is beautiful women who can control him. However, he doesn't plan to have a showmance in the house.

- If he wins the show, he plans to donate money to charity. "A percentage WILL go to charity -- that's not just talk." He also plans to save up money for his daughter's education and gamble in Vegas.

- His favorites from past seasons include Marvin, Janelle and Chicken George. His least favorite is Holly.

- His strategy for winning the game is to be as real as possible and make everyone laugh. Because there's no television in the BB house, he plans to be everyone's entertainment. He enjoys playing comedic characters and addressing racism/bigotry/homophobia in unexpectedly funny ways.

- Another strategy he has for winning the game is to make people think his ideas are their ideas. "I'll ask them, 'Who do you want out of the house?' If I don't like their answer, I'll pose a series of questions with intent to poke holes in their logic and I'll slowly, gradually get them to target the person I want them to target without ever saying 'Cindy needs to go' or something like that." He also plans to rattle people's cages before competitions so ensure they don't perform very well.

- He auditioned for the show in Los Angeles and almost left the casting call three times because there were "a bunch of douchebags" in line who kept fawning over Evel Dick who had shown up to butter up the audience and get attention from everyone.

- "If being single was like cancer, I'm phase 4. I'm terminally single. I haven't had a date since, like, February."

- If he wins the show, he plans to pay off his student loans and buy a BMW for himself and his new "Big Brother Boyfriend. My BBB."

- "I think I know what the twist is going to be, but I could be so off. The way I've been getting my news before going into sequester is by going to sites like JokersUpdates and RealityBBQ where people start talking about potential twists. The one that I've heard that I think sounds the coolest is instead of nominating two people, they'll nominate three people. The reasoning goes that if you nominate three people, it becomes much more difficult to backdoor someone."

From Brendon's SuperPass interview...

- His strategy going into the house is to not have a strategy. "When I go in the house, I'm really gonna play it by ear and take it day by day. I don't wanna be too intimidating or too aggressive right off the bat."

- He plans to flirt with the girls. "I want the girls to like me just as I want the guys to like me. I don't want the guys to be threatened by me."

- He considers himself a master debater, but he says he's smart enough to know when to turn it off. He doesn't plant to be overly confrontational because he knows that every action in the house has a consequence.

- "I've really gotta play down my intelligence in the house. I don't want them to think I'm anything more than just some dumb jock. Nobody's gonna know that I'm a physicist."

- Going into the house, his biggest fear is falling in love with a beautiful girl who stabs him in the back.

- Two years ago, he was engaged to a girl who broke up with him and kept the ring he gave her. He was devastated for a long time but he ended up taking her to small claims court when she refused to return the ring. He won the case.

- If he wins the show, he plays to pay off his student loans and get treatment for his brother who's a drug addict.

It sounds to me like Brendon would be more suited for a dating show than Big Brother.

Does he think this is Love Connection or something?

According to posts I'm reading at RealityBBQ, there won't be any live audiences for the eviction episodes this season. At least not in the first few weeks.

This lends credence to the rumors that one of the first four evictees will be returning to the house. After all, the producers can't risk one of the audience members shouting out who the saboteur is if the evictee has a chance of going back in.

Hee. 5 pages and the season hasn't even started yet! Salemite, you are awesome.
