The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

I cant stand Ragan he is always trying to diffuse any potential drama because he wants a nice clean game. Ummm for someone who claims to be a fan of the game has ever even watched it before? People watch Big Brother for the drama and fights, Big Brother is all about backstabbing and manipulation, please get rid of Ragan.

I'm convinced Rachel is playing a character, she has had the same good bye message three times in a row, I think she is a lot smarter than she is letting on, and I think she is playing Brendon.

I don't like Ragan because he takes shots and Brendon who has always been nice to him. Ragan insults Brendon's intellect, yet Brendon has been right almost all of the time. It's interesting to me to see Ragan be so quick to judge regarding intelligence; I see no evidence of even below average intelligence in Ragan.

Ragain did say he thought Annie was the saboteur in his good-bye message to her.

This week will be interesting on CBS at least. With Hayden and Kirsten up it will be fun to see if someone wins POV and takes them down who will come up?

How AMAZING would it be if it was like Hayden and Enzo? Or Kristin and Lane.

Would be funny to see how Hayden would vote.

The players, namely Ragan and Rachel, were talking about it a couple of weeks ago on After Dark. Obviously, it's reality TV and things happen. The producers do whatever they want. Things are supposed to happen and don't, often times, like Annie getting out week one. I believe that Rachel was "supposed" to win this week's HOH, because it wasn't physical and involved memorizing things as I remember she was doing on one of the After Darks. Of course they want Brendan and Rachel. Those two make the season, so far, because they are basically at the heart of all that's happening. Most people want them out and they have the power 2 of the 4 weeks so far. It's the Brachel show! :P

Being a fan and being a player are two very different things. And a player shouldn't be playing so that the audience gets what they want. They should be playing so that they're positioned well and Ragan is in a pretty decent position what if there wasn't a solid foursome still installed under the radar.

The problem (BIG PROBLEM) with 'the brigade' is that they are do nothings. They absolutely do nothing to play the game, manipulate anyone. The only moves they have made was when Hayden was HoH and they put up Brenchel which ended up being a do nothing any way. The drama came from Annie going bonkers to the n-th degree. Then Rachel won HoH and the brigade played pool and did their workouts while Monet and Britney were on the block. Matt volunteered himself as a pawn (which leads me to think his mensa should be asnem) and almost got himself booted. Then Monet was ousted and Matt became HoH and he put up Andrew and Kathy. No drama until Andrew came to the last 2 days and lost his marbles, but gave a riveting speech for his reason to stay. Brigade did nothing. Now Rachel is again HoH and one of the brigade is on the block. Maybe not for long, but he's there.

The brigade is an asswipe away from being that backyrad group from last year who did absolutely nothing while Jesse and his group ruled the house. But America loved sweet little Jordan and Jeff and gave them a miracle. Otherwise they would have been growing Jeff's veges to this day in that back yard.

Now Hayden has asked the dr to give him a coup. Kathy is praying for a coup. In other words, no one does anything outside Rachel and Brendan and sit on their haunches waiting for their miracle to come. that's not game play.

That's not a problem. That's them being smart. They need to just play week by week and stay under the radar until they have teh numbers. You can accuse them of being boring but it's hte smart play and I have to say I didn't think they had it in them.

How is Rachel AND Brendan both being there this week smart play? Matt could have had one of them out last week.

Because people are predictable give the masses someone to tear at until you have the majority then take them out one by one, starting with Rachel and Brenden

What I meant was Ragan seems to think that this season is good and he has said a couple of times that this must be the best season ever. He is making the right choices as far as playing the game, but to be a fan of the show and say that it's the best season ever when nothing has really happened so far until this week, and even that wasn't much, is stupid.

Lane is in the best position in the house at the moment. He doesn't really have a target, he is in a solid alliance, and everyone likes him.

Then get ready to be impressed, because NO ONE has a clue yet. In fact, they've hidden it so well that the Brigade can pretty much skate by for a while without two of their alliance members being nominated opposite each other, which -- since it only takes 3 votes to tie this week and counting down from now on -- means the Brigade could essentially control each eviction from here on out. This week for example, if the nominations stay the same, Hayden has 3 automatic votes plus Britney (who thinks Kristen is coming after her).

At this rate I assume at least one Brigade member will be in the finals, it's looking likely that two of them will be, and they have a chance to become the first 4 man alliance in BB history to make it to F4.

They're actually playing well. It's a pity I can't stand them.

"Alliances" are all for show and as we know, most short-lived. The reality is that at some point you have to turn on the so called members of your alliance -- that is if you have any desire to end up the WINNER. Forming a group of 4 like the "brigade" provides for some temporary feelings of safety and a false sense that they're actually playing the game. NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY GAME PLAY. They're just skating. I hope in the next week or so, one or more of them get booted at the door. Maybe then the dynamics will change enough to make this season a little more interesting. The only thing that keeps me going is the chance to see Brendan w/o his shirt.

No matter what anyone else says, I love how almost each and every week, Rachel says, in the taped message, "Ain't nobody going to get between me and MY man."

She said it to Annie, Andrew, and she might've said something like that to Money. It's funny. I thought she was 100% serious the first time but now I just think she's joking.

She's not. She's insecure.

But if you ask Joesman, that's normal and what makes her likable - her inability to fully trust people.

Britney won PoV. Rachel won $5000, Hayden is in solitary for 24 hrs. Ragan won a veto ticket (?) (this from Jokers.

Everyone was supposedly talking about how badly Kristen and Hayden did in the comp. If this is the same comp that they practiced on during the whole of SHO AD last night, their practice was pretty good.

Wow! Brit won her second veto! Awesome job for her. I hope she takes Kristen down and the two pair up and go after Brenchel. After seeing Kristen go off on Andrew she grew on me.

Brit and Kristen have not been very friendly with each other. Now let us see how much pull Lane has with her. They seem to be close friends. (?)

And out of everyone in the brigade, Lane is the only one I can stomach. Wouldn't mind them being a secret pair at all.

What motivation would Lane possibly have to help Kristen? If anything she's gonna gum up the works for his alliance. This is a gift for them, they get to get rid of a potential problem without doing the dirty work.
