The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

Brit did not use the veto. Seems like BB wouldn't let her tell Hayden and Kris that she changed her mind either.

Sigh. I don't give a lick about Hayden and Kristin but this had the potential to be really good for Britney. I really hate that the producers won't keep their noses out of the game. And why the hell are the protecting KATHY anyway? She's deadly dull and moralistic.

I loved the HoH room with rachel, Ragan, Brit, Matt and Brendan talking about kathy and the root beer. Funny stuff. There are a lot of bitches in the house and not all are female.

Kathy talking to Hayden about the use of profanity. She can't stand people using the f word, or the p word. She can't sit and listen to that. Hayden says he is the same way, that he was raised with a christian background and it is not how he would talk.

Sorry that Brit didn't use the veto, too because it would have caused some serious discussions with the hgs, and would have put Brit in as a real player. She does play the trashing bitch to a tee.

Not loving Enzo at all. He talks himself all the time, the meaow meow did this, the meow meow would do that.

I would love, love, love Lane, Enzo, Hayden and Matt to be exposed and have to get into the game without sitting around talking about their bad luck.

Brendan and Rachel are the hardest players in the house. The only time others start playing is if they are nominated are think they are going to be.

Kristen is just as bad as Rachel is, honestly. When she automatically jumped to the conclusion that Rachel was "jealous" of her in last night's episode, I just rolled my eyes thought, "God, not another one."

I maintain that Rachel is obnoxious but good TV and she's still my favorite after Britney, but for all the wrong reasons. And Kristen is pretty dumb and deserves her eviction after how she acted in last night's episode.

Finally, this season has a spark!

How could Rachel be jealous of Kristen? Kristen wears her pants up to her chest and Britney made fun of how her pants show way too much in the genital region. I don't think being on Big Brother could possibly aid her modeling career.

BR and HK teaming up ruins their narrative. They can't have all the known players on the same side. It's not exactly an exciting week if Kathy goes home.

My distaste for Rachel grows but I have no one to really root for. I enjoy Britney and Ragan but they're being a bit passive for my tastes. So it's just like... m'eh. I want teams. How many freaking seasons has it been that this far into the game there weren't two clear teams? I don't expect this to be intricate game of each person playing for themselves. I want clear sides, obnoxious people, and the ability to love and hate intensely for little to no reason.

I was happy because it seemed like smarter people this season so I expected smarter gameplay. Sadly in BB smarter gameplay means less gameplay. I now realize what you need for a best BB cast is the dregs of society and one or two smart sarcastic people to laugh at them.

Thing is though, BR and HK weren't really teaming up. HK were just telling them that but they were totally gonna backstab BR first chance they got. I think the reason the producers convinced Britney not to use it is because they clearly have this narrative of the showmance they like (BR) and they want them to stay in the game as long as possible. Allowing this plan to go through would keep two people in the game still gunning for BR and lessen Brendan's chances of winning the next HOH.

I just hate that the producers haven't realized that BR aren't as popular with we many viewers -- certainly not the way Jeff & Jordan were -- as they'd like them to be.

I think they know exactly what the viewer reaction is...and they love that the viewers hate them. It gets people fired up and rooting against them. Viewers are eagerly anticipating the demise of Brenchel. The other BB message boards I visit have people posting like crazy about B & R...all mean and nasty stuff. Those people are having fun hating on B & R. It's not as much fun hating on nice people...and no fun at all posting nice things about them either (unless you're an old lady .) The show needs drama and antagonists in order to keep viewers interested.

Brendon and Rachel have already had a few fights in the house...last night she came close to telling him to take a hike. They are doomed to fail as a couple...when they do, the viewers will revel in it!

As far as Jeff and Jordan are concerned, there is no comparison to B & R...J & J were a total bore (and that was the most undeserving winner of BB ever!) Thankfully now, this seasons boring showmance couple (Hayden & Kristen) are going to be split up.

So, the reality channel here airs Big Brother marathons on weekends...I watched part of season seven, probably my favourite. A lot more interesting than this boring shit this year.

Grodner needs to fire whoever is casting.

You nailed it. I used to always want a lot more intelligent people too but Big Brother is set up in such a way that truly smart people know the best way to play the game is to NOT play, and that doesn't make for very exciting viewing. Clearly the best combo has always been a sprinkling of smart people and an abundance of hot-heads, morons and bigots.

Who won the POV and did they use it?

Let's hope that Hayden goes home. I want to see Kristen come back and get into it with Rachel.

^^^ Britney won PoV, was going to use it but right before the PoV ceremony she was called to the dr and changed her mind. The nominations remain the same. Obviously she was influenced by the dr. The plan was to take hayden off, put Kathy up and send her home. Kathy must have a friend in the background of the dr.

Big question???? Has lane ever taken his shirt off? I don't recall ever seeing him shirtless.

That's not quite the way I recall it.

Britney was talking to Rachel when she was called to the DR. She and Rachel were discussing her using it to take Hayden off and replace him with Kathy. Rachel said it was too risky because she wanted Kristen to be evicted and would not put Kathy up as a replacement...that she'd put up Lane instead. Kathy was Brit and the guys target so there was no point in replacing Hayden with Lane...they'd settle for just evicting Kristen.

Big question???? Has lane ever taken his shirt off? I don't recall ever seeing him shirtless.

Lane does...he is often in the pool and really has a nice beefy body. A bit of pudge...but mostly muscle. It was slightly hot the other day watching Matt lotion up Lane's back with sunscreen...Matt's not hot though so he kind of ruined it

Matt and Ragan definitely need to keep their shirts ON! Ick. Lane is definitely not fat, he has a very nice barrel chest is all. Without his shirt he's actually really hot -- broad shoulders etc -- and with Hayden's hair and Brendan's drippy personality detracting from their sex appeal, Lane has become the closest thing to the House Hunk for me.

It doesn't hurt either that he's playing well thus far.

I agree...Lane is the one I look at and

He's got a great dry sarcastic humor...but some of his country ways put me off.

Ragan has a nice upper body...really well defined abs & muscles on chest and arms...it's just that he's tooo thin! His legs and butt are not hot at all though (put a bag on his head while yur at it!) I just get so bored and tired listening to him...and he goes on and on...

Brendon is kind of a dork, a goody-two-shoes, a know-it-all and has done-it-all....just totally turns me off with his personality. If he didn't talk or hook-up with Big Red, I'd find him more attractive.

Hayden...meh, Matt...cuter with his clothes on

Matt...cuter with his clothes on

I disagree. He's horrid with or without clothes (though he should definitely keep his shirt on). He looks like a little rat. Can't stand his personality either.
