Matt was stupid for hinting to them that he has a power. This was the perfect opportunity for him to gauge loyalties and he totally blew it. Now the brigade will never show their cards.

Maybe he doesn't want to find out? Maybe he doesn't want unnecessary fissures in the brigade by holding off on hinting he has the power? He knows either way someone out of the brigade will be leaving this week.

Why create drama if it does no good?
 
If Lane tells Matt he's OK with Britney going home, Matt may think the easiest move is to use the Diamond and backdoor Britney. Ragan has already turned on her, so it's not like ANYONE would be angry at Matt for evicting her.

She's still in trouble, unfortunately.
 
If Enzo or Kathy end up winning I will be so disheartened. I don't want them to even make final 4, but it seems inevitable that they will. Kathy has been kissing Brendan's ass as has Enzo. Enzo doesn't even wait for someone to get the power. He kisses ass for kissing asses sake. And who moans about how hard it is more than he and Kathy and neither have had a hard time other than HN. No game other than kissing ass.
 
Okay, wow, I'm behind. First off, it's great to see Soapskank updating again! Anyone else notice that the game itself starts getting interesting when Salemate is updating again? It's a talent!

There's a trend in this house, people can't keep their mouths shut. Britney with her yapping and throwing under others under the bus and Matt with his hinting of a power. It's ridiculous.

The one great thing is that I believe a brigade member will go home this week only because now Enzo and Hayden plan to tell Matt right before the live eviction that he's going home unless they gamble with the idea that he doesn't have a hidden power. Matt may see this as back stab and put the both of them up (which I hope happens).

If Brit stays this week, I think she can make it quite far, perhaps final four. This is her last hurdle there I believe.
 
Honestly Matt should just be able to tell by the fact Hayden/enzo/lane associate with one another but not with him. I mean he has to have some sense of this no? He needs to think long and hard about what move to make here. I was just excited the brigade might fall apart, not because I dislike them but because we'd finally have some gameplay.
 
I'm so baffled that people like Britney still. She's a dumb ho who cant keep her mouth shut. She talks so damn much and she cant keep track of what she says. And she's just as stupid as Ragan with his infatuation with Matt. She is all devoted to Lane but he doesnt give 2 shits about her and would be happy to see her ass go. Stupid people should go.
 
To each his own, but to some of us, she's hilarious in the DR, and to many of us who have to watch this boring cast on the feeds, she's one of the only fun/funny/witty/entertaining things on it (sites like Dingo Hamsterwatch have said as much). Of course this is subjective and not everyone has to agree.

But I fail to see how Britney is a "ho" when she hasn't crossed any lines with Lane, doesn't dress or act like an attention-whoring slut, has been friendly with Ragan and VERY close with Monet (i.e. not just flirting with straight guys the way so many girls do on this show) and has consistently talked lovingly about her fiance back home. Compare this to say, Rachel, who had sex on the feeds (more than once), talked about having orgies, dressed and acted like an attention-whoring slut, got drunk at every opportunity, and talked about her hooker past and wanting to CONTINUE being a hooker, even after she and Brendan were married.
 
I like that we are at the point in the season where the herd has been thinned a little and we are getting a chance to know the houseguests a little better. The same thing happens on The Amazing Race; early in the season, there are so many people that no one gets much individual attention, and it is hard to form much of an opinion.

As things stand, Matt is my favorite. I've liked him since the beginning; he's sort of a weasel and if he is a super genius, it is of the Wile E. Coyote type, but I think he's reasonably fun. I like that we are getting to see more of Lane's DR sessions. His comments have made me laugh a few times now. Same with Britney, although she has a little too much of a "mean girl" streak for me to really root for her. The only houseguest I really, truly dislike is Enzo. The others are tolerable.

I guess I understand where your'e coming from but I think most feedwatchers think favorably of Brit. She's been ranked number 1 on Jokers since day 24 to now. She was number one for the first week and was only dethroned by Matt and Ragan in between. Honestly as alliances go I'd root hardcore for a Matt/Ragan/Britney combo.

I mean it's not like anyone else in this house has more integrity. Enzo/Hayden/Lane just got done having a conversation saying they want to get rid of Brendon and Kathy before Brit and Ragan and they've been coddling the former for the past week. It's just the game and as game goes Brit has far and away the most interesting conversations/commentary.

This week will tell if Matt is really a super genius or not. It was starting to look like he's a real contender but if he can't tell that Brendon is being puppeted by members of his alliance who secretly want him out than he lacks some very critical BB skills.
 
Matt is NOT a super genius. Like at all.

Week one right off the bat he said in the DR he wanted to win the first HOH which is exactly what a smart player shouldn't want to do. And the second time he won HOH, he declared that he was the best competitor in his alliance and that he was carrying all their weight; it didn't occur to him AT ALL that the Brigade was intentionally letting him do their dirty work and throwing challenges so that -- in the event that they were nominated against him -- he would be the main target.

He also has no clue that they always planned on ditching him at or before F4, and instead of doing the smart Dr Will thing by playing the two alliances (Brigade vs Ragan/Brit) against each other, he's spent more time just bad-mouthing and undermining Brit with both the Brigade and Ragan.

This guy likes to talk about being a genius more than actually being one. If he actually backdoors Hayden or Enzo this week, I will suspect DR manipulation because nothing he has done said up to this point indicates that he perceives the truth about the Brigade and his disposable position in it.

LOL. Ho was just an expression. I dont mean she is an actual ho.

I used to think she was funny too. I think her humor has been overshadowed by her crying, bad gameply, devotion to Lane, and running her damn mouth. Plus the jokes havent been funny in a while.
 
I dont get how Matt became so popular. He's the most smug and irritating member of the Brigade. There's nothing more annoying than someone who reminds us hoe smart they are all the time.

Enzo is more tolerable than Matt at this point.

Is it b/c he's "friends" with the gay guy?
 
^^^^ I am with you on this one. I detest Matt. The way he plays, the way he looks, the way his hand is always down in tinyville, the boosting, and his inability to see the brigade playing him.
 
So true. It's the same reason I couldn't stand Daniele from BB3 (even though she actually had skill as a player) because she kept talking about how smart she was all the time. Same with Russell from Survivor who is vastly overrated and has actually shown himself to be a BAD player.

Thus far, I'm underwhelmed by Matt.

Yea Danielle was a little ridiculous but I still felt bad for her. She lost to a girl who pretty much did nothing. And at the end of the day I do prefer someone who really played the game even if I dont like them personally. But Russell is the worst I agree.

I think she is really funny, but it almost always comes at the expense of others. In other words, if she wasn't talking so horribly about her housemates, I'm not sure she could keep you entertained.

I think she takes a lot of really cheap shots behind a person's back, and then she will be nice to someone like Rachel in person. I think that's the reason why she seems so "sleazy". I don't think in this case it's because of her mounting/climbing on Lane even though she is supposedly engaged, but because she is so treacherous.
