The Official "Big Brother 12" Discussion Thread!

I am sorry about Nick and Brit's house. I have a suspicious mind. Did Nick get all hot and bothered that his one true love was wallowing around the BB house with a like idiot? Just thinking out in b & w.

Ragan winning America's Favorite sounds about as good to me as Russell Hantz winning it.

He already got $20k for doing NOTHING, he doesn't need more.

She is going to dump him and move in with Lane now...especially if he wins. ;)

I suppose $50,000 is a lot in cow country.

Slipintothefog, have you heard something about Ragan winning that prize? God I hope not. I'd probably rather see even Brendan win it than Ragan. I had heard it was between Britney and Brendan, but I could be wrong.

I agree. Anybody but Ragan, or Matt or Lane or Enzo. I can't bear the thought of Ragan's ego being inflamed again. I want the public to rip the heart out of his chest and spit it out to the blooming rats. Him and just about everyone else on this lousy season.

This Summer's 12th Edition Continues to Post Across-the-Board Increases On-Air and Online

Two-Hour Finale to be Broadcast Tonight, 9:00-11:00 PM, Following the Premiere of "Survivor: Nicaragua"

BIG BROTHER, the perennial summer reality hit, will return for its 13th edition next summer on the CBS Television Network.

This summer's 12th edition of BIG BROTHER is posting year-to-year increases, up +5% in viewers (7.64m vs. 7.26m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.7/09 vs. 2.6/08), +10% in adults 18-34 (2.3/08 vs. 2.1/07) and +3% in adults 25-54 (3.2/09 vs. 3.1/09).

"Big Brother is our summer hero," said Jennifer Bresnan, executive vice president, alternative programming, CBS Entertainment. "Every year, our producers deliver innovative twists and turns, consistently evolving this proven franchise and engaging one of the most loyal and interactive fan bases on television and online."

Online, BIG BROTHER continues to grow with CBS.com seeing a +15% increase in full-episode views compared to a similar period last summer.

The special two-hour finale of this summer's edition of BIG BROTHER, when Lane, Enzo and Hayden will compete for the $500,000 prize, will be broadcast tonight (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) following the premiere of "Survivor: Nicaragua."

BIG BROTHER, hosted by Julie Chen, follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with over 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests vote someone out of the house. Tonight, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

No, I was just replying to the post above mine. I heard it was between Britney and Brendan too. Hopefully Britney wins, especially after the fire.

To be honest, I would be surprised if the housefrau voted for somebody "bitchy" like Britney though. Especially when Brendan is sooooo cuuuuute or whatever.

^^ Yeah I bet Brendan will get it (underdog appeal etc). And when he does, watch for Rachel to scream and make it all about her, even though most people voted for Brendan despite her, not because of her.

The only hope for Britney is the Keesha precedent. Keesha was never a fan favorite all season long, and was certainly bitchy at times, but she got it mostly because viewers wanted to stick it to April. And hey, in that sense, Britney gets umbrella votes since whoever you hate, she's sure to have said something nasty about in the Diary Room. ;)

A vote for Britney is a vote against everyone else...which to me is the perfect message to send the producers about this dull season.

How is Britney like Keesha? Is it because she is white and blonde? There's really nothing else similar about them.

Ugh Enzo has played well but he's really over-inflating himself. "I made the Brigade, I did all the work." Dude it was a team effort and if we're talking specifics, you came up with names for everyone. That's it. You never won HOH and you never orchestrated anything on your own. Simmer down.

Oh and I love how the recap at the start of the show said nothing about the saboteur twist. Even they know their twist was lame.

Brendan just admitted he didn't want Britney to be evicted; I knew he'd still vote for her. Judging from their comments, maybe falconfan was right about Brendan and Rachel only voting on competition wins. Brendan just admitted as much about Britney.

The fact that Brenchel can't see how the Brigade played well -- and needed it explained to them by Britney, Ragan and Kathy -- tells you everything about their own lack of gameplay.

Rachel: "If their game was so good, why did I win 2 HOHs?" What an idiot.

Did Enzo form the Brigade, or did Matt?

I'm glad it's been renewed, but I'm wondering what they will do to improve it. Especially since ratings have been good this year. Will it be more of the same next year?

Sgt. Pepper I thought you said Rachel and Brenden were going to vote for Lane?

Hayden won, deservingly so. Good for him!!

Funny that Rachel, Brendan and Britney all voted the same. Its also funny that Britney clearly seems to prefer Rachel to Brendan. That was obvious in the house too. Those two have a love-hate thing going on.

I really don't like this current format. The questions are always rushed and pointless. For example, Brenchel obviously came in there planning to vote for Lane and didn't change their minds despite his HORRIBLE performance in the Q&A.

Falconfan , looks like I gave you credit too early. Brenchel did not vote on comps.

Altlover I said they wouldn't vote for Lane if he was in the finals against Hayden or Enzo. I was wrong. I'm not sure what their reasons were though since they never seemed close to him, and the show didn't do a good job of telegraphing their reasons.

Glad this season is over, hopefully this show can redeem itself next year, this finale was just a sappy lovefest. LOL at Rachel's face when Britney won America's Choice.

I'm just glad Hayden won. I would have been pissed had Lane won.

The only good part of tonight was Britney winning America's Choice.

LoL @ the sour look on Rachel's face.
