And here's the thing, even within her rules, her logic made no sense. If you accept her premise for a moment -- i.e. "If God wants me to save Jen, that's what I have to do" -- then all God ostensibly did at that moment was have her play in the POV. There was no sign or indication that she was supposed to 1) win it or 2) use it on Jen.

What if God wanted her to throw it? What if God wanted her to use it on Kail? What if God wanted her to keep the nominees the same? All she really knew was that God wanted her to play in the competition. How she made the leap from that to "save Jen" was peculiar to say the least.

It always made me wonder -- and Dick hinted this too in the DR when he called it "her agenda" -- if Jameka wanted to go to the finals with Jen because she knew she'd win against her.

Jameeka just isn't that devious or if she is she's damn good. Because sacrificing all those HOH chances did get her deep into the game (and I wonder what would've happened when she was inaccurately eliminated during the live POV had she stopped. They'd have to give her SOME sort of redo but as she kept going the really could just say well you wouldn't have won anyway.) To Jameeka the fact JEN picked her name meant she was to play for Jen. Had Kail picked her way she would've presumed it was God's objective that she play for Kail's best interest.
 
Yeah it's ironic that she was bawling about giving up those HOHs at the moment, when it actually got her all the way to F4. And given that she was a huge threat for jury votes and she couldn't win ONE competition during F4 week to get herself further than that -- and was promptly evicted as a result -- I think it's safe to say giving up those HOHs was the only reason she got that far.

And please don't remind me about that F5 POV. I didn't even remember the wrong-call DQ for her because I always get distracted by my anger at Zach. He had all the power when he won that POV and could have EASILY sent Daniele packing simply by using it...and he chose not to. He literally chose to let a father and daughter pair go to the Final 4. Did I mention this was the dumbest cast?

One of the wrong colored balls flew in her tube. Chenbot eliminated her when production noticed the ball in her tube. Jameeka shouted that she didn't put it there and kept doint the challenge. Dick made fun of her for quite some time for what he considered a ridiculous assertion (and in fact it seemed as much) but on review of the tape she was right. THought she should've thought that God wanted her out of the POV.
 
I'm just saying, when you watch BB do you get the feeling God or Satan was at work?
 
I get the feeling they were both taking a nap because no one would do that shit on purpose.
 
Wait, you mean watching a competition with a giant broadway clam and houseguest names conflated on CDs in magic marker doesn't seem like a purposely well-made show to you?

Callum, Monica was indeed a nutbag -- a casting foreshadow of what would come with Amber, BB9 Natalie, Lydia and Rachel in terms of actually insane -- and most of the season I couldn't stand her. But Nicole was so humorless and such a self-involved kill-joy, that it was awesome to watch Monica rip her apart before she left. She may have been crazy, but everything she said about Nicole was true.

Yeah, her and Lydia in one house would be amusing to no end. Toss in Britney from this season, too.

I'm loving how the last few pages of reminiscing have been way more entertaining that BB12. KNOW THAT!
 
How come no one except the Brigade had any real strategy this season?

Annie blew her game by overplaying it and drawing way too much attention to herself.

Monet really had no strategy that I could see. Did I miss something?

Kathy flew under the radar and probably would have made it farther if not for the DPOV, but I don't know if she would have made it much farther.

I think we all know the flaws in everyone else's game.

Did the three I mentioned have a strategy or were they just there?
 
^yea I never thought of that but you're right NO ONE else had a plan. I can't recall any strategy of any kind. That's why I hated Britney b/c she won a few little comps but had no plan. her plan was imply to latch onto Lane. But even that wasnt really a plan. It just sorta happened that way b/c she was so catty toward the other girls and made no attempt to do anything on her own. It took her close to the end but it still didnt put her in a position to win. She pretty much set the tone for the girls not liking each other and being unable to work together.

Outside of the brigade there was no brainstorming or feeling things out. Annie seemed like she would have been the one to do that. But she left too soon. Like you said, Monet had no plan. Kristen started to play the game when it was way too late. Before that she was just taking up space. Kathy is just Kathy.

The brigade's plan worked so perfectly b/c they were in a house full of foolish girls (Ragan included) who just wanted to attach themselves to one man and just sit around bitching about Brendan and Rachel.
 
I think the girls not working together plus the Brenchel hate were really the main things that screwed this season up because you wouldn't think it would have been overly difficult to discover the Brigade, especially after Kristen left.

I don't really understand why when people are down in the dumps, they don't go balls to the wall like Annie (and Andrew to a lesser degree) and put it out there. No one really fought to stay in the game once they knew they were on the block and were going to go home. There really weren't those good final pleas that make other HG's think about why they should keep you. Maybe they were sick of the house and wanted to leave?

Kathy clearly had a fly under the radar strategy that could never have worked for her because she'd ultimately be unable to win the final comps she needed and that's why the Brigade smartly wanted to take her to F4 originally. I agree that the other two seemed to have no strategy. Both Britney and Ragan incorrectly thought they were playing as pairs with Lane and Ragan respectfully and Brenchel's strategy consisted of winning comps and hoping all the people who hated them would somehow never come after them.

I'd include Andrew with Monet and Annie as having no strategy and yes the Brigade clearly played the best.

To me the strategy irony of the season came from Brenchel. If one of them got to the end they'd fully expect the houseguests to put aside personal feelings and vote for them based on comp wins...the very thing Brenchel themselves couldn't do when they voted for lame competitor Lane over good competitor Hayden.
 
Oh lord, back to BB 8 for a moment, did you guys read Amber's post-show interviews where she addressed her anti-semetic comments? She actually says, "I shouldn't have called Jews greedy and selfish. What I meant was that they're very goal oriented and money focussed." LMAO!!!

I think Annie was evicted before she could have a real strategy.

I think Andrew had some semblance of a strategy, but no social game, so he shot himself in the foot.
