Replace "very good acting" with "a very good marketing plan" and yep, that's the sad truth of the porn business today. It's one of the main reasons the industry, in general, is going to shit (and fans are slowly starting to take notice and get pissed). It says something rather negative about the business, in my opinion, when just anybody can be thrown into porn and become 'the next big thing'. To be a successful performer these days really doesn't require any sexual talent - or even passion for what you're doing.

The way i see it is that a straight male performer would love working 5 times as much because they love pussy! That is there incentive, to get as much as they can and get paid for it. Well, to be clear, he's not a "gay porn star". He just happens to participate in material marketed (mostly) towards a gay male audience. HUGE difference!

That is why there isn't a driving force to get this guy out. The people that say he isn't hurting anyone, no one has to watch it, why are you complaining, etc say they don't visit but they form an opinion that he is harmless.
If you read his blog or the post from the crazy people that support his shitck then you would know the contempt that they show for the gay men that ARE members of the site and for gay men in general. Posts with homophobic slurs get left while post that condemn it get deleted. Cody should have spoke out against it but instead makes post about movies and basketball. If your a straight man making gay porn then you should be even more vigilant about standing up for gay rights. That isn't what is happening with Next Door. I have read many behind the scenes stories that talk about how the lead "straight" guy on those sets dislike the gays. Since Mason is gay and Tommy D is bisexual that means that it is Cody.

He did an interview after his site had been open for about a year and said that alot of people had a problem with his site because it was "sort of vanilla porn" (his words) since there was no anal sex with women or men. He seemed to think that made things equal since guys didn't have a vagina he couldn't fuck them like the girls.
