I'm sure my opinions on Cody and Next Door are well known around here.

After Queerclick asked people to be nicer about Cody I noticed they were pushing Next Door pretty heavy.

Then it turns out Queerclick has won a Cybersocket award two years in a row for best blog.

The Cybersockets are sponsored by Buddy Profits. Buddy Profits is Next Door for all intents and purposes.

Does anyone believe that of all the nominees that Cocksure shouldn't have one the best New Website. Instead some weird tube site one. Fishy as hell.

I'm sick of all the Next Door photoshoots not having anything to do with the actual video. The photoshoots are nice but ALL the videos are the same with the models on a bed with white sheets.


I've read that blog and the women that are on it are vicious and homophobic. They attack anyone who suggest Cody should up his game. I find it hard to believe they are his core audience.

Still as I found out you can't support Tommy or Mason without supporting Cody.

It isn't the talent that is the problem with Next Door it is the production and direction.

They don't care they film all there scenes for five or more studios over one five day week in a shoot house. That is like 20 to 30 videos. How can they put any effort into the production if they spend less than an hour shooting it?

They don't care. They own the Cybersockets and know that their crappy product will be pushed on the blogs because of the power behind the award. We might not care but the bloggers do.

As I said I've read that blog before and used to be a fan but several times homophobic slurs have shown up on that site and I have seen post from Cody that were offensive to his gay fans get pulled in less than hour after posting so they aren't there anymore.

Like Ive said many times. You cant really blame Cody Cummings that much. You have to blame stupid, self-loathing gays. They keep him in business. And gay porn studios that so money-hungry and devoid of any principle, create him.

to join tommyd's site or mason's or the nextdoor ones you get free access to cody [there all linked] and vice versa, so its difficult to support one site and not the others, i agree with the above comments about the comments on his blog they're very questionable, shouldn't they but moderated before allowed to be posted? or are they already?

One of the supposed "Women" outed herslef as being a man by saying that, if her dick was as big as Cody's she'd be swinging it around too! That's how sad and tragic his sycophants are and how far they will go to get him to speak to them. He is all over the women and basically ignores most of the guys. This Pauline guy/girl is supposedly writing a book based on Cody, working in the adult industry doing things he doesn't want to do and his struggle with it. No one is forcing him to do the site or making him do anything he didn't want to do. He started all of this knowing full well what it involved.

Sadly this is true. I would imagine many older, closeted guys who are married to women are in that category. I have a "straight" acquaintance who used to escort to pay for college. And that was his major clientele. Honestly they seem to make up the craziest gay porn fan base.They're like the guys that randomly donate to Cody on Paypal and send him expensive gifts.

That's just pathetic--gifts/paypal. Someone in the porn business told me exactly what you wrote. A lot of g4p/bi porn caters to the closeted man who can be turned on because it's not "too gay." As a proud gay man, I'm fed up with this kind of attitude infiltrating most of gay porn.
