The vortex of talentless fame whoring that gave birth to the Britneys, Gagas, Keshas, Katys and Rihannas of the world has decided to reclaim her throne as the incongruous, attention-starved and downright pathetic wannabe diva that she is, by delivering an overlong speech about absolutely nothing, peppered with "vignettes" directly taken from her 'Sex' book, Liliana Cavani's 'The Night Porter' and Terry Gilliams's 'Brazil'.

It's funny that this rancid old c*nt would be talking about social justice and unfair economic principles, when she embodies the concept of "corporate whoredom". Someone please tell me how this utterly talentless woman has managed to build and maintain one of the most successful careers in the history of popular music, because I just can't explain it to myself.

She's not aging gracefully, but she was a great artist if not a particularly gifted singer. Her ego would probably make her insufferable to be around except in small doses in any era but the last time she did anything really good or relevant was her "Ray of Light" / "Music" era. Gaga, unlike Madonna sings very well(did a great duet with Tony Bennett) and plays the piano quite well.. I do see her though becoming similarly vain in her middle years but she has the talent to go into different areas.

I've said it before: I don't understand how it is suddenly legitimate for gay men to spew sexist hate speech just because they don't appreciate a certain woman as an entertainer.
It's as if people think that they have to have an opinion about all these female entertainers just because you're gay. You don't.

I don't give a fuck about Madonna, Lady gaga, Cher, Britney and all the others and it annoys me to no end to see their names constantly come up here and in other gay contexts as if it's taken for granted that we're just supposed to have an opinion on these women. Why?

LOL...if you had to listen to them blaring in your ear every night you would have an opinion...just like most people have an opinion of music they don't like. In Spear's case...I actually turned off American news because they turned it into Infotainment and everything she did was suddenly considered "news"...largely because of her publicist. I hate her because of that.

I always thought M was in control but after reading the article, she just took control of whatever life threw at her. Her autobiography if she decides to write one, would be an amazing if not an interesting read on how the world saw her and her antics, and how she saw it as an artist and person.
