That's pretty vanilla for Madonna.....Christ, look at her Sex book which SHE herself put out. How could anything shock more? I cannot believe Madonna has even wasted 10 seconds thinking about this book. Now, if Miley Cyrus' bro wants to put out a book saying those things, then he'd have something to sell, but Madonna....is anyone surprised even in the slightest?

After all she's done for her brother and the rest of her clan.. What a friggin traitor... Even though all of the crap he's written is not so surprising coming from Madonna, I'm sure it must still hurt her that her own flesh and blood put pen to paper. thats just a despicable thing to do.

Heh. They tried to do this when she first got popular and playboy did that spread on her. She came forward and told the world that she'd done it, but she'd never done it for playboy, they were for the money and they were artistic. Playboy paid to obtain the pictures in the first place.
Dude needs to make money somehow, though, and when they get parasitic like this...you know no good is coming from it. Like seniorserio said, this is vanilla for her. She'll probably step out, confront it, make her brother feel and look like an absolute dumbass, then go back off in the room and lay down.

You're right....seeing your flesh and blood turn on you for money is totally despicable and would hurt tremendously but I am sure the time will come when he'll need his sis to bail him out and then where will he be? It's unfortunate this is hitting her at the same time she's dealing with the A-Rod divorce bullshit and her own is-she-or-isn't-she divorcing Guy fiascoes. Then, again, no one manipulates the media better than this woman....hell, she INVENTED the art of media manipulation!

I dislike both Hard Candy and American Life, but for different reasons.
American Life was Madonna attempting something, and (to my way of thinking) failing. Music was a fun album, but it was really the first Madonna album (except maybe the debut) where her personality seemed to be receding. It's like she started getting overshadowed by the production - something that hadn't really happened for eons. She'd used great producers before, but you'd always known it was a Madonna album. The use of ProTooling and whatnot started making it less so.
American Life seemed like her way of asserting herself over the production. The lyrics were forceful, and tried to pull the attention away from just the beat. But I found them really kind of lame. They were clumsy - a real rarity in Madonna's music - and most didn't really hit home at all. Pile that on top of the weak backing tracks, and you've got a real mess of an album.
Despite thinking AL was awful, it at least ATTEMPTED something, even though it failed. I may not like the album at all, but I give her credit for trying. Hard Candy didn't even bother attempting anything. It's by-the-numbers, boring dance-pop, with none of the fun dance songs that made Confessions a good listen, and none of the good pop songs that made many of her other albums great. I find it easier to listen to than AL, but it's strictly background music - songs you hear in a club between the good ones.
Now that Madge is free from her label, it'll be interesting to see what she comes up with.

Political Meaning To Madonna's AMERICAN LIFE
I don't feel this belongs in entertainment since it's mainly a political discussion.
Many were confused on the meaning Of Madonna's Music video for American Life. Due to my research on interviews.. I think this was the most artistic piece of propaganda ever done.The music video depicts many things.
1.Clips show spoiled teens using drugs, drinking, being punks, and not having a clue about the world in general. Also from further comment from Madonna which i agree with, It seems we are so greedy and rely on material items. We want more and more. It's something many of us are guilty of. People in third world countries struggle so much more.. but they know how to be much happier people. Sure there is good and bad in everyone and everywhere.. but this is a general statement. We are the fattest country.. have the worst parenting, we care so little about what we do to the ecosystem, well the republicans can care less. As Madonna sings, "AAaaaa-Merican Life.. I Live The American Dream, You Are, THe best thing i've seen." Meaning if she lives the way the average american is.. that achieving the american dream is so simple now that you think about it. Being a stoned white trash redneck in a trailer is the American dream as they raise their beer and scream WE LOVE BUSH. When you are the best thing she's seen.. its all there is. This is the American dream we fight for.. how pathetic. "You Are, The Best Thing I've Seen.. You Are.. Not Just A Dream"
2.The video shows George Bush smiling and lighting a gernade and then indirectly making a subliminal message that he had everything to do with 9/11. It shows Americans laughing and enjoying themselves as they watch children in the middle east screaming and dying in blood. Images of Dying People in torture are quickly flashed on screen. Thinking it has nothing to do with them and that its all a joke and to just worry about their own life. Madonna spoke that she wanted all the people in the video to wear Shirts with an elephant on them... and then she comes in a military outfit...shooting them all.. instead she comes in a big jeep and starts screaming really loud as machine guns and rifles start firing like crazy. You hear screaming in the crowd. So same thing but edited heavily. (The elephant is the Republican symbol.)
3.Madonna asked the question.. why are we having this war? People say its good for economy... well the republicans say it is.. but have they done their research.. or do they listen to what TV and their "Ma" said? Do they vote based on something trivial cuz others may be voting for them that they know? Are they a victim of propaganda? There is something called religious rights radio.. and right now they are saying Obama is ending the war to let in terrorism and that hes on their side. Listen to how desperate these people are. Sad thing is.. they're convincing thousands of people. Pathetic?
As offensive as the video may be... it is still her freedom of Speech! Something that many American forget what this country is founded on. But is the original American lost? To what we have become?
And remember to vote for Obama.... Bush has been openly against Gay marriage and gay rights.. something you should all know.. and we know McCain will continue to be as ignorant.. and continue to take our money and scare us into using the "national security threat that there are weapons." Do You have pride in who you are as an American and a gay man living in the land of the free? Bush vetoed the Hate crime law for gays. Do you want more 18-19 yr olds coming home in boxes?
