^^I agree to the extent of SOME songs being radio friendly. Although he did spawn 'You Rock My World' and 'Butterflies'. The album didn't FLOP, it sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. alone, and then 2 million outside of the U.S.

i am not a fan of Miles Away. IMO Give it to me and 4 minutes are the only two good songs on the album. Hard Candy is a very bad album.

But, I love American Life and always have. From start to finish. It is way up there. and actually Like A Prayer and American Life are the only two cds by her that i still want to listen to. And they just don't come across as extremely dated.

Miles Away was alright, but wasn't single worthy. She should have released "Heartbeat" or "The Beat Goes On" as singles.

I rarely listen to Hard Candy anymore, anyway. I mainly listen to American Life, Music, and her first album.

Umm when we ALL turn 50 aren't we ALL gonna have similar issues? I think she can sing live well used to be able to. The confessions tour she did amazing and had good use of vocals. Britney is a worse case however....

I like Madonna because of all the controversies she started and indirectly pissed off alot of conservative republicans with Like A Prayer and American Life. LOVE IT.

She's been around alot longer then today's female artists and has actually accomplished ALOT. She sucks as an actress though.

Think about THIS... if any artist made it to age 50 and tried to sing on stage and act kool... wouldn't they get bashed for being old REGARDLESS if they suck or not? I see young alternative bands with boys screaming and shaking their heads like as if they are having a seizure and they look fucked up but people applaud them. Depends on your definition of weird I guess
