I was a huge fan when I was 18 yo collecting picture disc memorabilia etc... I still like her but stop buying her records after ray of light btw she wrote a bunch of torch songs.

Back in the 80s when she was marketed by others as pop her music was ok, as far as pop can be.
Today she just checks what's currently in - to keep up with the pop and mainstream philosophy - or steals from underground scenes without standing behind what she actually does, then hires a few producers and markets herself.
Too many gays and young girls idolize that rich woman, they better throw out their money for other things

Back when the world was new, when we still road dinosaurs to school up hill both ways in the snow I was head over heels for Madonna. However, comma, at this point if I got up and turned on the news and heard she'd been dragged to death under a bus I wouldn't shed a tear.
I am sick of her and most celebrities believing that their beliefs are some how important to the rest of us and I'm tired of their out of touch comments about the social structure of the country, etc. I don't care how much money she has she still started out as poor white trash just like the rest of us and her significance is limited for me to her ability to entertain me. She doesn't do that anymore.

Madonna's talent has alway been to synthesize things. Sometimes it works and she's fabulous. Sometimes it doesn't and she flops. But I still like her because she finds ways to reinvent herself, and if she hits once every five years or so, it's a sight to see. There are celebrities who are always terrific, and never make a wrong move, but she's not like that, and I can accept it.

I do not like Madonna. The only thing she's talented at is removing her clothes and being an attention whore. I'm surprised people think others respect her musically.
