I think Madonna knew exactly what she was doing...

I think that was her grand, "Fuck You" to the paparazzi and the fashion police in general who have been making catty comments about her since the 80's.

At this stage in her life, Madonna is an icon, with more money than most of them can even imagine.

It was more a comment about how silly it all is, and how she doesn't have to care about all that shit anymore.
