Hard Candy was less than I hoped for... I think (pray) this album will be much better. Confessions was brilliant. I'd like to see more of that, with a good blend of Ray of Light.

I just got up and my 4 books and 2 DVDs I produced are missing. Plus the draft of my next book I'm working on has disappeared and now even a sketch I did for the cover art. DAMN that Madonna.
 
Thank GOD the video doesn't suck. That has been the one area Madonna has been slacking on the most in recent years. This one was pretty fun and goofy but in a tongue in cheek way.

It also sounds like they changed the pitch of her vocals from the demo. I remember them being a lot higher and whinier... they put Nicki's rap on my favorite part of the music with all of the Pac-Man noises though. :(

The video is amazing. Lovin' the retro 60's hair. And the outfits, everything looks great. She looks much younger in this video than her last few. Whoever she has working on her appearance for this video needs to be kept on board.

The last video that could match up to the standard of Madonna's videos in the 80's and 90's was the original version of American Life, IMO. Hung Up's was decent and definitely a cut above the rest of AL, COADF and HC's videos but still nothing special to me. I've watched GMAYL's like ten times today though which is more than I've seen, say, Love Profusion or Give It 2 Me's videos ever.

no surprise here. the music industry is full of thiefs anyway that live off of other people's work. this is why i don't see all this bitching about the riaa and music piracy when that's what the music industry has been known to do-steal other people's work.

hell, i heard through the grapevine about how they sign ghostwriters, ghostproducers and etc to do the hits for certain artists such as what happened with lil wayne and another artist named gillie da kid. supposedly gillie da kid wrote lil wanye's rhymes for the carter 1 and 2 and cash money records did away with his ass when they had a fall out. kanye west also made his way into the business ghostproducing for other artists. the record business is shady as hell.

Just now I went to my car to discover my Gaga CDs were stolen and replaced with Madonna's "The Immaculate Collection." Damn that bitch.
