Stop.. you're killing me.

Re: The New Madonna song is Horrible

Might provide some interesting samples for remixing though...but I am just trying to be conciliatory.

Re: The New Madonna song is Horrible

the new track is just "ok". it's not one of her best songs but not one of her worst either. i dislike the 'love madonna' line throughout the track. sounds childish.

Madonna Denies Britney Spears MDNA Collaboration.

Madonna has denied reports that Britney Spears will feature on her new album, MDNA.

Last week, Britney fansite Breathe Heavy reported that Spears had collaborated with Madge on LP opener Girls Gone Wild, with a leaked version of the tune appearing on the website.

The Queen of Pop has since dismissed rumours of a duet with Brit, telling Ryan Seacrest that she has not teamed up with Spears on her forthcoming record.

When asked about the allegations, the 53-year old replied: "Is Britney on what track? No, it's just little old me. She could come on stage and perform it with me if she wants."

Ugh... the rumor is that GMAYL is going to stall at #11 when the Hot 100 updates tomorrow. And the song is dwindling on the iTunes chart despite still rising in airplay.

I hope Interscope just cuts their loses with GMAYL and moves onto the second single (for which M is already shooting a video soon-ish) like they did when Judas flopped last year.

Madonna Scores Record-Extending 38th Hot 100 Top 10

Almost 30 years after her arrival on Billboard's charts, Madonna continues to feel L-U-V from her fans. On this week's Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, her latest single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., bounds 13-10 in its second chart week.

The first single from Madonna's 12th studio album, "MDNA," due March 26 (which sports an "L-U-V, Madonna!" cheerleader chant), becomes her 38th Hot 100 top 10, pushing her further ahead of runners-up the Beatles (34).

Madonna first reached the chart's top tier the week of June 16, 1984, when "Borderline" rose to its No. 10 peak. She had last ranked in the region with "4 Minutes," featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, the week of June 28, 2008.

Here is a look at the artists with the most top 10 songs in the Hot 100's 53-year history:

38 -- Madonna
34 -- the Beatles
28 -- Michael Jackson
28 -- Stevie Wonder
27 -- Mariah Carey
27 -- Janet Jackson
27 -- Elton John
25 -- Elvis Presley (whose career predates the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception)
23 -- Whitney Houston
23 -- the Rolling Stones

Whoohoo! I'm glad it managed to squeeze into the top 10. But the single has almost certainly peaked now, so get that video ready for the second single in time for the album's release, Mo. ;)

Re: The New Madonna song is Horrible

I only engaged in that because when talks about statistics as being an indicator they should get their facts right.
My original claim that Rihanna and Katy Perry spanked GaGa in 2011 is TRUE whether you like it or not.

The best proof of this is to look at the Billboard 2011 year end charts.

Best Artists on Billboard (factoring in everything they did in 2011):

#1 - Adele
#2 - Rihanna
#3 - Katy Perry
#4 - Lady GaGa

Both Rihanna and Katy Perry beat GaGa in 2011. Your claim that album sales are the most important is wrong. Because if it was all about album sales GaGa would have outranked them. But she can't because her singles performed nowhere as good as Rihanna or Katy singles.

That, along with the fact that both Katy Perry and Rihanna ranked Higher than GaGa on the year end Hot 100 list is all the proof I need to back my claim. They were far more successful than GaGa in 2011.

In fact,

This week on the Billboard 200 Katy Perry's Teenage Dream outranks Lady GaGa's Born This Way. Katy Perry is at #61 and GaGa is at #64. LOL!

On the Hot 100 GaGa is still missing but Katy Perry has The One That Got Away at #21, and she will probably get her new single Part of Me in the top 10 easily because it's at #1 in itunes right now.

And funny how you should say that you don't hear Katy on the radio anymore when The One That Got Away is still #5 on radio songs. Lady GaGa who you claim gets played a lot on radio does not even have 1 song charting in the top 40 radio songs.

Yea, facts. ..|

Re: The New Madonna song is Horrible

Yeah, lets keep this argument going with the most irrelevant of things in music - stats.

Re: The New Madonna song is Horrible

And clearly, since there isn't a single woman in the top five albums of all time, only men should make music.

In the top ten, the only women are either on soundtracks or members of Fleetwood Mac.

So you all lose.

And since you base your measure of what good music is on charts and sales... You agree with me.

Oh, and there hasn't been a good album since 1999 when the Backstreet Boys released "millennium."

The end.
