I Love Love Love "Whenever You Call", but i hate it with brian mcknight, it takes something away from the song...the emotion that Mariah gave it in the original....having Brian McKnight in it makes it sound cheesy...

Really? For me, the song sounded better with McKnight!

Yeah, i just think its takes away the emotion that mariah exhudes in the song.

Wow, it's always nice to know your history. So, that's from where Notorious B.I.G. took his sample of "One More Chance," Ashanti's "Foolish/Unfoolish," and of course, Mariah's "Lovin' You Long Time." Thanks for that song.

"Stay With Me" is such a goddamn classic! i love it! i think mariah did a good job on her song, so did ashanti with foolish, but nothing compares to the original! i grew up listening to debarge

Mariah's camp did great things with it, though. Better than Ashanti's take on it, "Foolish".

think i like "Foolish" and "Unfoolish" better. of course Biggie's sampling blows 'em all out of the water,imo.

this is one of my fav's from her album and its kind of a summer anthem for me. i have probably listened to it almost everyday since like May lol. too bad it hasnt been doing better on the charts. i didnt think it would go #1 (even though i think it deserves to compared to current crap!), but i expected it to do better than it has been doing. ive only seen the video on tv a few times, but i NEVER heard it on the radio lol. i like the video, its not spectacular but good; better than touch my body or bye bye videos imo.

& of course debarge was great and so were biggie & ashanti songs. im glad she sampled a different part of the song though, i dont know how another song with the same sample would have done.
