Wow. No wonder so many damn Americans have body image issues. Mariah Carey is FAR from fat. Gimme a f*cking break!

And it's funny how many people come in here in a hate on her, but here it is, almost 20 years after her debut, and she is still making music, having #1 singles, and setting records.

And I guess if Mariah had been addicted to crack, she'd "have class" and people would take her seriously.

When is Mimi going to break open her giant Hello Kitty piggy bank and buy a shit load of stock in Adobe? Nobody loves Photoshop the way Mimi does. Photoshop should pay homage to their #1 client by renaming themselves MimiShop. It's the least they can do.

If Adobe ever went out of business, Mimi's rainbow ass would melt down into a puddle of liquefied Skittles.

Even after all the crack Whitney might have smoked, she STILL gets respect in the industry. Her peers RESPECT her as the true legend that she is - unlike they do with Mariah. Even after broke ass Bobby Brown and his reality show, endless rumors and "CRACK IS WHACK" -- Whitney Houston STILL has more class than Whoriah, who constantly has to prance around in her panties and flash her old ass coochie while showing off her body just to get people interested (because her weak ass whispery voice these days sure can't do the job alone :lol:). Jay-Z may have declared AutoTune dead, but Mariah Carey just revived it. On the debut single from her 12th studio album ("Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel," due Aug. 25 on Island Def Jam), the singer who needs no vocal manipulation uses the effect with startling success. The key is making it look easy. Along with the-Dream and C. "Tricky" Stewart, Carey has crafted a gem of a diss record that coasts, even over its sputtering moans and synth jabs. One questionable Windex analogy aside, her lyrical boasts are biting and funny, and the syrupy lightness of her vocals is tailor-made for the ribbing she gives her mystery pursuant (reportedly Eminem). Though some lament Carey trading in her sky-high notes and ballads for a more constrained, R&B-friendly range, the singer has clearly found a new comfort zone that could very well produce her 19th No. 1 hit.
