I was at a club tonight and the dj put this song on. The dance floor cleared out fast. Not a good sign when this happens.

It's not exactly a club song anyway. If they put it on in a club, I'd clear the floor too. This song was obviously tailor-made for pop radio, and nothing more. So what you witnessed doesn't shock me. Usually when DJs play Mariah at a club, people clear the floor. In fact, if you request a Mariah song at a club here, they just laugh.

Even after all the crack Whitney might have smoked, she STILL gets respect in the industry. Her peers RESPECT her as the true legend that she is - unlike they do with Mariah. Even after broke ass Bobby Brown and his reality show, endless rumors and "CRACK IS WHACK" -- Whitney Houston STILL has more class than Whoriah, who constantly has to prance around in her panties and flash her old ass coochie while showing off her body just to get people interested (because her weak ass whispery voice these days sure can't do the job alone ). She has about as much industry respect as Lindsay Lohan. Bobby can't be blamed for what she CHOSE to do. And she lied about it, which makes her a liar. So hmm, who do I respect more? LOL well not to knock Mariah lol, but people don't clear the floor when Whitney's songs come on. Here's a video from 2009 Gay Pride at a club where guys were dancing and cheering to Whitney's new song "I Didn't Know My Own Strength". And it was mostly all acapella and they were still dancing and cheering her on.

Especially at the end.

I have grown tired of Mariah hip hop sound. She can sing, and I think she needs to get back to that with out all the hip hop back ground.

Speaking of Mariah, she has some real issues with singing live or maybe the pressure of singing live. Her performance yesterday at the MJ memorial was horrible, reminds me of years ago when she sang Believe live at the Oscars with Whitney Houston. Not to mention that she took the chance once again to show off her breast. It's not Diva class, she is becomming Diva Trash.

I agree. Her performance at MJ's memorial yesterday was horrible. Her voice is so shot. She's couldn't sing live now to save her live. A hot mess that was. Her voice is GONE. And she has horrible stage presence. So boring on stage. I could never support her. She lost it. Whitney today would sing circles around Mariah.
