My family owns the original MC xmas album and we literally have been playing it every holiday season since we got it. It's really good. I'm not sure what this sequel can add to it, but it has some big shoes to fill.

I didn't like the beginning... but slowly got into the rest of the song.

Its so jolly, its very Mariah Festive can't wait for the album!! I love the single cover shown also...

I love "Oh Santa." At first I wasn't sure about it and was comparing it to "All I Want For Christmas is You," but it's so addictive! Her voice sounds very good. Should be a hit every year just like All I Want For Christmas.

Her voice sounds very good? Really? She sounds kinda like crap...and it's in the studio. Her latest show in Singapore showcased washed up Mariah, vocal-wise.

The song itself is a good Xmas song. It's fun, joyous and festive. I just think it's got WAY too much going on at the same time. And I hate the clapping shit.

And I didn't hear any of her Singapore show but her performance there clearly has nothing to do with her latest album. At all. Oh Santa is a Christmas song; she's not singing at the opera or some shit. It's supposed to be fun. And it is.

It does have everything to do with it because she was recording the album still when she performed there.

Since when does she stop being a vocalist (supposedly one of the top vocalists) just because it's a Christmas album? She's a VOCALIST, regardless if it's a Christmas album or not. Her vocal delivery should be on point...it doesn't matter if it's opera, jazz, pop, rock, whatever...she's a vocalist...she became famous because of her mad vocal skills and that's what I expect from her...nothing less. If you're content with scraps that's your problem...fortunately, I've got standards.

She failed miserably when attempted to belt towards the end...so damn hoarse and raspy. Let's hope her voice will be in better shape on the rest of the album...

someone is not happy about the new single ^ ^

I get the whole too much going on part, but to me her voice sounds fine. It sounds like the same voice from the Memoirs album. I do miss when she actually used to sound human and sing without focusing to much on lacing her raspy voice along the song.
