I would have welcomed Gambit to the list, but Cyclops being excluded is probably a good thing. Was never a fan.

Don't know how/if Blink would work, but Spider-Woman would be great.
But now that Zero and Wesker are in, my dream team is complete!

Blink could use her teleporting almost like Adon's Jaguar kick, and she's a pretty decent fighter, I think she could work.

I'm really surprised Nightcrawler hasn't been used in one these games yet. I don't even really like him, but I can definitely see him working.

I know what you mean, Nightcrawler is so so IMO to.
Marvel does need some girls though so Blink would be cool I guess.

I know and understand that X-23 and She-Hulk are completely different from their male counterparts, but it would have been nice if those slots were used for Marvel characters with completely different powers. Even when I observe the videos of those two females, I'm not really that impressed with their movesets. Of course, that's just my perception.

See, now Simon Belmont would be a good idea for a MvC game; the whip is already a good melee and medium-distance weapon, and he could throw the knives, holy water or cross as his alternate projectiles (QCB LP, QCF FP, etc).

Doesn't sound like it, no. They just went for a voice that was McKellen-esque.


I liked the English voice acting in MvC2, because it was anime-style and had a lot of quirkiness that made it bearable to listen to. The voice acting in this one still gets on my nerves, because it sounds awful when they try to say all this crazy stuff in straight English.


US voice actors: You can't voice a Japanese video game the same way that you'd voice anything else. Remember that.

theFallenGod, I have to agree about both your statements. Phoenix does look weak, unimpressive, and uninspired. Her moves could have been flashier to compensate for the poor damage output.

Haggar looks like he may be pretty nice to play as I did like Zangief and Colossus in the past games. Even though Haggar has a couple of moves like them, I like how the moves were slightly altered so that it does not feel exactly like the aforementioned C and Z.

Capcom said there will be about 40 playable characters...

This is only 34... so I wonder who the other 6 are going to be?
