Hsien-Ko, Akuma, Taskmaster, and Sentinel will be some of the final reveals. This leaked list hasn't been wrong so far...Also heard Elektra, Ms. Marvel, Frank West, and Mega Man EXE being thrown around, but I don't know if those are true.

Does Phoenix get a Gill-esque revive just because she's weaker? That's just... wrong.

Also, the list I got on another site seems to be ringing true!

Phoenix only revives as Dark Phoenix if she dies with 5 full hyper meters. Also, her health as Dark Phoenix gradually depletes.

Upon second look at Phoenix's video, it seems as if she is stronger as Dark Phoenix, even though her health depletes. It's a nice trade-off, I think.

And while impressed by the addition of Phoenix, I was somewhat hoping for a little less fire, and a little more telekinetic attacks. But who knows, I'll pass final judgement when I get the game. *is excited*

I'm not familiar with Taskmaster either, but it looks like he will be a mix of Hawkeye, Captain America, and Spiderman.

Taskmaster has "photographic reflexes" which means he can copy someone else's moves which is why he seems to have Capt. America, Hawkeye, and Spiderman in his repetiore.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster

First off, I know there has already been threads about this game but they've been long burried under Lady GaGa and Beyonce threads ....



Maybe this is the wrong place for this but is anyone else ticked off over some of the characters chosen for the roster?

I know the game was trying to have a variety of different people but seriously... who the fuck is that big head with a mushroom haircut flying around on a jetpack? Has anyone heard of him ever? He's retarded looking and nobody is going to want to play as him because A. he looks dumb as hell and B. nobody knows who he is..

and instead of turd characters like Arthur or Tron Bonne they could have put like Cammy or Guile.. you know... people we actually LIKE! What's with these kiddy characters that look ridiculous and out of place?

Who the hell is that dog anyway? That dog character isn't as bad as some of the other choices.. but CMON it's a dog!



Blehh... anyway I'm also disapointed that Gambit, Rogue and lots of others didn't make the cut.

Thoughts?

The roster is supposed to be balanced so it isn't cheap like MvC 2 where Storm, Sentinel, Iron Man, Cable and Iron Man shit all over the rest of the roster.

I just hate the choices they gave us for some of the characters.

Yeah, he is M.O.D.O.K. and he also made an appearance in Marvel Ultimate Alliance as a boss. Anyway, I played him and he's really great if you are skilled with trapping and controlling the field.

No.. Hulk should be there because he's Hulk. She Hulk looks pretty cool. I don't have a problem with them.

She Hulk's theme is also pretty bad ass.

I like trapping and playing the field actually. This is why I liked Spiral from MvC2 but I would never pick him just because he's an ugly piece of shit.

How does She-Hulk play? Is she a lot faster than Hulk?


I also am sad that Juggernaut and Sabretooth aren't here and they were two of my favorites.

No one's out of place. Tron was most likely included because of the upcoming MegaMan Legends 3, and Arther was put in because he's awesome.

Lead character from Okami, a fantastic PS2 game.

The only disappointment I have with the roster is the exclusion of Frank West, (although he'll most likely pop up as DLC down the line) and to be honest we frankly don't need more X-Men or Street Fighters.
