The pressure was on, but Whitney Houston nailed it.

After her wardrobe malfunction on the X Factor at the weekend, and with music critics still wondering if she can really pull off her comeback, her performance on the Italian version of the TV star search was a pivotal one.

Lucky then that she rose to the challenge – delivering a show-stopping live rendition of her track Million Dollar Bill.

The 46-year-old diva had the audience up and on their feet, clapping along as she belted out the track.

And there was no repeat of last week's strap-snapping episode - her elegant white Dolce & Gabbana gown stayed perfectly in place.

Whitney is on course for a top five hit with her new single, which is vying for success in the charts against Cheryl Cole's effort Fight For This Love.

The American diva's track Million Dollar Bill will be her first top five single since My Love Is Your Love in July 1999. She also has one of the week's biggest-selling albums with I Look To You.

Yeah, she was indeed better in Italy! And just a few days after the U.K. performance. Impressive! Can never count this woman out...

I wish she would have worn that white mini dress in U.K. X Factor! That dress much better suits that song/performance. And she wouldn't have had a wardrobe malfunction. lol

Haha yeah she's blessed. :p A gorgeous face, supermodel-esque body frame, and an unbeatable voice. Go girl. And "For The Lovers" is one of my favs on the album. Hot track! And she really sangin on ASFY. Love that one too!

If Whitney really wanted to "clean up her image", why in the heck would she choose BOBBY "Broke Ass" BROWN of all people? He isn't exactly someone you would want to go to to "clean up" your image...:lol:

Besides, if Whitney really was into chicks -- I certainly wouldn't mind! :p She'll be playing for our team. All the more reason for me to want to support her. :wave:

I just can't get enough of the part @ 2:51 where she says "I beeeen", and then adlibs: "He makes you feel... million dollar bill...you say." So clear and powerful. She so KILT that part! :=D:

Whitney Houston Wows Italy On 'X-Factor'


After waiting 11 years for the singer to return, Italy has welcomed Whitney Houston to the stage for her performance on X-Factor in Milan.

The songbird performed the single "Million Dollar Bill" from her new album. The audience went wild for the singer, who showed off her trademark long limbs in a strapless white Dolce & Gabbana dress. And this time around, her boobs were safely secured with big black bow.

Whitney's 46-year-old pipes seemed to be in good working order as she bounded across the stage energetically, a big smile on her face. I think the exuberant host best expressed the feeling in the crowd when he asked, "Can I lick you?" Grazi, indeed!

Whitney looks HOT! wow..isnt it crazy how she got clean, left Bobby, and became a M.I.L.F....lol...thanks for that music video! That was my first time seeing it...good stuff! really digging this song...been humming it off and on all day..lol

Wow, her voice really IS getting better with time. I was skeptical about that theory, but it looks like the people who initially said that knew what they were talking about. Let's hope she stays away from the drugs for good.

I have been a fan of Whitney's since '88 and I have seen her highs and lows. At the beggining of the decade I thought she was through. After seeing the performances from this era I still hear that magic under all that damage. With the right care she will recover some of her old voice. Her performance of MDB was great in Italy!
