Well hell... I was really hoping after hearing that she went back to rehab, things would be on an upswing for once.

I am hoping against hope that this is just her body giving way... and not a relapse(because we'll never hear the end of it). RIP Whitney.

I am sorry that such a bright light has been dimmed for good. But I mourned that light a LOOONG time ago when she threw it all away for drugs and Bobby Brown. I have already mourned her death. To me she died a long time ago. Now perhaps she may finally actually rest in peace...

I find it weird that the cause AND location of her death are unclear.

I find the latter far stranger than the former(since the correct cause always takes some time to deduce) - that IS an unusual print.

Wow. I still remember when I was 16 and saw the video for her first single "You Give Good Love" and loved it. Bought the album that day, probably the first week it came out. On Cassette.

Her third album was the first one I ever bought on CD.

I kinda strayed away from her after that but always would listen to what she was doing.

Very sad that we never did get our Diva back.
