And that ad just is more relevant now then when it was released. The disease of addiction can get any of us. Even the best young, beautiful, talented person out there. but sadly some of us can never get past whatever reasons we use. She served her time in whatever hell she was living in.

It is sad to hear of Whitney's passing. She was a major influence for my favorite singer, Celine Dion, as well as for countless other top music stars. She will surely be missed.

My favorite song of hers that she recorded -- was "One Moment in Time" which she recorded for the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul Korea...



I'm grateful for the talents she shared while here on earth -- and am SURE that she is now singing with the angels...

After the dust settles, we'll know that it was a Suicide.

My heart aches for her. So very sad indeed.

Suicide via being a drug addict maybe.

I don't think you can drown yourself in a bathtub, your response would be to get up for air.

Seems like she was so passed out from drugs that she slipped into the water and couldn't wake up out of it, or was already dead.

You wouldn't kill yourself with a party to go to later that evening in a hotel room where you know people are coming for you.

At least people will watch, I know I will tune in at least for the beginning. I stopped watching the Grammys at least 15 years ago, as did most people.

Now that music is complete shit, I don't even know most of the artists of songs nominated.

I think it's possible, but pretty hard.

I've heard that it's possible for someone to slip their head near the waterline without being under it -- so that you're not in-taking enough oxygen to survive but you're not having that "omfg I'm suffocating!!!" moment.

In the ocean you can drown yourself but in a bathtub you eventually have to breathe water which is something the body does not accept. I've even heard of some kind of liquid oxygen that you can breathe but it's very hard for them to actually do it too, I think astronauts do that, unless I'm thinking of a science fiction movie.

When Amy Winehouse passed, some people were being really insensitive on here so I'm not really surprised.

Who didn't see that one coming. She was always a mess from the start of her career. Her hit was "rehab". Michael basically asked to be killed by a doctor, so I can see people posting shit.

It depends if you like the performer or not maybe. But at least give the body a day to get cold before you post something rude.

It's still shocking when a performer dies before they are old or unexpectedly.
