Thats right. There is team skating.


I use to love figure skating but I think Im over saturated from all of the events over the years I watched.
I dont know why there is team skating. It looks the same as individual skating but I guess the argument was that "gymnastics has it, why cant we?". But then again, it is about country versus country

Needless to say, I look forward to bobsledding and luge.

The only events I look forward to are Curling and Hockey. But I'm snowed in, so I'm pretty much watching everything they show this weekend.

Plus I'm skiing for the first time in a couple weeks, so I'm trying to get myself excited for the slopes.
 
As usual I'll only be following the medal count, and this year for the first time ever I'll be rooting for gay athletes. I finally have a reason to care about someone other than Team USA at the Olympics.

Will NBC show anything but US competitions?

Are they planning on showing the awards ceremonies?
 
As I watched the Slopstyle Boarding medals and the interviews with the winners after.... I was hoping for my favorites. bobsledding, figure skating, half pipe, and i like biathalon but they never show that cuz it has guns and guns are scurrrrry....

Sounds like an enquirer headline... not facts and no proof just the french bitching that someone else said something and maybe something else....

Why would the Russians conspire to rig Olympics then openly tell a French magazine. That is beyond ignorant. It defies logic. Plus stating that the judges are going to 'help' the reigning world champions is simply trying to insinuate the world champions are not really good... when in fact they are the world fucking champions.
 
Winter Olympics bore me.

But I can't stop watching summer Olympics!! Volleyball, Tennis and Basketball are my things! ;)

NBC actually showed the old style awards ceremony?

I expect they will offer more figure skating (which I hate) than anything else.
