One of those days where you just wake up and feel good and energized? This is that thread.

So of course that means this is how I am feeling today. Post away!

So far so good, but things could change at any moment!!

*not able to post*

I guess so - for the second day running my new job failed to get me a pass or computer access, therefore they had to send me home 3 hours early again. I still get paid, so i couldn't give a shit.

Beautiful, sunny and warm day. Scored a free parking spot downtown when I went to go pick up my photo ID at the Law Society. Woo hoo!! But my cat has diarehha, so it's not all sunshine today :(.

Good idea, the Just Venting thread is a bit depressing so we needed this one

Unfortunately it's been a crappy day for me but I'll make sure to share the positive vibes in the near future.

I had planned to move the last but one car load of my belongings to my new flat. It started raining just as I set out.

Arriving in my road all the parking spots were full and the whole length of the road was full with cars doubled parked. Then as I arrived at the level of my block of flats someone pulled out leaving me the chance to park right outside my gates.

It is not much but it made shifting all the cartons and sacks so much easier.

Hey anything that makes a move easier is something. Moving is usually such a pain that any little thing that goes right is great to me.

I managed to get some fireworks in tonite, and the bairn enjoyed it despite the drizzle of light rain. The joss stick that came with the pack was woefully inadequate, but I have a whole stack of them in the end room, so we had a good time.

I got a 6 pack of recessed halogen lights on sale at Rona, the 14/2 wire and a really cool dimmer switch too. They're all going in my apartment's living room. Now I just have to find the time to install em.

I spent the day off work with my visiting brother. We did a wee bit of shopping, plus took Louis out to dinner tonight.

The day began murky and overcast, but cleared to end sunny and bright.

Took cuttings of my Duranta repens. It is not hardy here, and we are due to have killing freeze tonight. If all goes well, I'll have an entire hedge of them next year, but have to treat it as an annual planting.

^Pretty.

Woke up this morning and finished the book I was reading. Always feels good to finish a good book.

When I post I usually in good mood ^^ I hope y'all can vibrate my vi bra tor :)

when I'm in bad mood..I restrain from posting (or usually busy with work) because posting in bad mood is guarantee will trolling or be trolled.

Previously I had suffered a humiliating defeat while trying to remove a rusty faucet. I had to schedule real plumbers to get the thing off.

But today I'm vindicated.

Not only did the plumber confirm that removing the rusty faucet was a stubborn bitch, therefore restoring my masculine pride, but I followed up by triumphantly installing the new faucet.

I'm now celebrating by washing dishes and vegetables that are already clean.

Yesterday afternoon I brought "the ladies" to town and I thought it was going to be another annoying day, which kind of was in some moments. We were looking for a medicine but none of the 6 pharmacies we asked had it.

At some point a lady comes to me asking for directions (I'm always worried in these situations because I don't know the street names nor where the shops are). However, this time I knew where the hardware store was and explained her. She was still a bit unsure because she didn't know the place so I said "don't worry, we're going in the same direction and I will accompany you".

Once we got close to the store I showed her and she thanked me. While she was walking away she turned back and said that I had been very kind.
This simple phrase alone made me happy and I got in a talkative mood for the rest of the evening (I don't usually talk much) almost giving the folks a headache

Obviously being on holiday implies one is having a great time.

My friends are allowing me to sit here in the kitchen playing with the iPad they bought me whilst I ignore them completely.
