All the funnies aside, it is a marvelous photo and island. It must be a lot larger than seen in this shot else it wouldn't support much more than seabirds or seals. Maybe they use its as a base for forays.View attachment 2884300
The house is a hunting lodge on an island named Ellrey near Island.
It is kept in shape by the hunters community, only they have access and the right to use it,
it has neither running water nor electricity but a sauna.
Pufins are mostly known for their gaudy and pretty beaks, but those are seasonal adornments for attracting mates, and they are shed at the end of the breeding season.I think people do hunt and eat puffins. They aren't without meat. At least not the ones I saw in Alaska.
