The post something funny thread

I had someone try to scam me by saying that there was a problem with the bank account that they said that I had just opened at a bank that I don’t even use and they needed personal information. I told them that I don’t have an account with that bank and the guy insisted that I did and I said that I didn’t and hung up and blocked the number quicker than he could call back. I also knew a guy that almost sold a house to a scammer before.

In my experience, solitude makes you appreciate the control you have over your piece, not make you antisocial. I have lived alone much of the last 40 years, but I use some of that time doing things that are for coming social outings.

If one already feels antisocial, maybe solitude can magnify it, but I still don't believe it leads to it. Many seniors live alone, and by far, they have been some of the most gracious and social people I have known.
