I didn't sense Phil was racist, he just hated all the riff-raff he had to deal with. He was obnoxious to almost everyone.

And a tea towel! Don't forget the souvenir tea towel, it's an indispensable part of any royal celebration. For the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1972 the children in our street had a souvenir lucky dip and I got a special edition commemorative stapler in a faux leather pouch! :wheee: I still use it.

My mother kept this from 1953.

Not sure why a consort should wear a crown, but I guess there are a lot of them lying about.

More on music for the coronation. Lloyd Webber and a bunch of people I've never heard of have been commissioned to compose new music and a "coronation orchestra" is to be assembled. Sounds ghastly.
