Mike will be one of 'those' guys that is like "I'll make out with a guy but nothing below the waist" bullshit.

Seriously, MTV or Reality Television (RTV now) could at least turn out some decent reality crap instead of this monstrosity. If I want to watch 'college-aged' people drunk fighting and bitching at each other, I can just walk into a bar in the city or onto a college campus for that.

Bring back addressing social issues or someone who doesn't drink.

lol just watched the 1st episode and i cant stand ty and andrew both are idiots. emily, erika and mike are so hot, everyone else is meh. Maybe I should try out for next season...hmmm
 
I just watched the first episode. I think probably the only cast members I like so far are Erika and Emily.

I really can't stand Andrew. Jokers are fine, but people who "playfully" lie so much you can't tell what's true and what isn't annoy me to death.
 
First impressions:

I disagree about Mike not being hot. He definitely has that Taylor Lautner squished in face look like you said Phoenix but I still find him really hot. Nice eyes. Nice body. Nice calming personality. So far.

Andrew is a total loser. I sort of get the logic behind picking him to be on the show. He provides an element of entertainment if for no other reason than because he's so insanely odd and offbeat. But also a pathological liar apparently and extremely annoying. He's the guy you try to avoid hanging around not because he's a loser, which he is, but just because you can't stand to be around him.

Ty annoys me. I sort of like him and I ultimately want to like him overall but from what I saw already and what seems to be coming up, I just don't think I'll like him overall. I thought it was funny no one wondered if he was gay. Buff sexy black guy dressed like an Abercrombie surfer and sounds like one as well. I'm still not even sure he's NOT gay.

Josh didn't do anything to annoy me. He doesn't stand out other than his appearance either. He's pretty hot as well. 3 out of 4 hot guys ain't bad.

Emily was cute. I like her the most so far. She seems like the type of person I'd get along with well off the show if I knew her. I doubt I'll end up hating her this season. Or at least, HOPE I won't.

Ashley bugs the hell out of me. Even though Ty annoys me as well, the stuff he was saying about her being the type of person that can reiterate what you say without actually hearing you seems spot on. I love how Ty pointed out that she interrupted him when he spoke which she then proceeded to do. I might end up liking her but right now I can't stand her.

Callie is adorable. All sweet and innocent. She annoys me a little in the fact that she seems so sheltered. I halfway expected her to admit the reason she didn't want to room with Ty was because she had never been around black people before. I still like her even though I feel like she'll do things that annoy me this season.

Erika seems awesome. She seems almost too good to be true. Like there's something she's hiding or something like that. Otherwise she didn't particularly stand out.

I seem to remember reading somewhere, maybe here, that the roommates wouldn't be able to have alcohol this season. Was that brought up at all because I missed the first 10 minutes and I couldn't tell whether they had any at dinner at all. I guess the fact that we weren't shown a pool or hot tub of any kind should be my answer lol.
 
I'm on the fence with Mike. Something just really irks me about gay people who are super religious and find roundabout ways to reconcile their sexuality and religion. Like when he was talking about how god loves him in spite of his flaws. Plus he seemed to be one of those "I'm not like other gay guys because I plays lacrosse and football" fools. Idiot all gay guys are not runway coaches and makeup artists, in spite of what Tyra says.

devilmonkey i thought the same about Callie not wanting to be with Ty. but then on the aftershow it was revealed that her and Ty shared an intimate moment and she felt more awkward about that than anything else. They also showed their hot tub in the after show.
 
Ty's hot but not sexy. He's preppy to the max. His whole 'wanting to know who you really are' thing reeks of his own insecurities. He's far too young to be jaded and annoyed by 'surface' conversation. Old people meet and greet by stating their problems, young people should have some fun.

Mike is adorable and sweet...and boring. He's in for an uphill battle trying to rationalize his faith with his existance. I could see him going door to door, "Have you found gay Jesus?"

Andrew's cute but not sexy. His 'act' is immature. He comes across like a bad Disney Channel script. Wait, that was redundant.

My jury's still out on the rest.

I liked Mike better with dark hair on the aftershow then with his blond hair on the actually show. But I still didn't care for him. And for him to be all like "I'm different cause I play sports and shit" is stupid...cause I could tell that boy sucks dick from a mile away.


i kinda enjoyed Andrew's quirky personality...it'll probably grate on my nerves after awhile...but come on...in the season preview, y'all didn't at least laugh when he was getting put on the stretcher and he said " I just have to warn you....I'm not wearing underwear" to the EMT's...hahah
 
Mike and Ty...My Oh My! I thought I wouldn't like this season but I really enjoyed the first episode.
 
I thought Andrew was really hot! I have a thing for those unconventional, goofy types that most straight women despise...And he had a cute little ass!

However, this season doesn't look to promising..Like every season this past couple of years. I'm gonna stick with Bad Girls Club, 'cause you cant count on drama in every episode. Real World only has one weak ass fight per season.
 
Well, it always seems like many people always find these kind of shows disgusting. I, however, think it's just fun TV, nothing more. I find it entertaining, especially when you're very bored.

Anyways, this season seems to be interesting. The discussions about religion, politics, and conflicted sexuality give the impression that this season is more "intelligent," but these themes are repetitive.

Oh, Mike is very cute. My only problem with him is that his eyebrows are very short in width... haha
 
I was put off by mike talking about his church an how it accepts him in spite of his "flaws" and how they work on correcting them.

And please spare me the whole I play lacrosse, trying to be hyper masculine bull shit.
