The Real World: Washington DC

Thats funny because normally i would agree with you because I think you're right but this week I saw it differently. Erika WAS being a bit of a spoiled brat and everyone was so shocked to hear Ashley say that but in her defence, she didn't say Erika WAS a spoiled brat she said she was acting like it which wasn't untrue. I just think everyone was quick to jump on Ashley's ass about saying that which overwhelmed her. Not that Ashley isn't a Viral Bitch, I just didn't understand why she got hated on for what she did this week

I see what you're saying...but the thing is Ashley was calling Ericka out for the same behavior she has been guilty of since they walked into the house. And I don't really think Ericka was being that bad, I mean it was a bit much to be like "this is 'my' day" but she was right about Ashley making everything about herself, when Ericka was trying to talk about stuff she wanted to do. I dunno they were both pretty bad this episode but Ericka had been pretty likable so far, so all my hatred is still towards Ashley...haha

Ashley comes off as a total psycho to me. It's hard for me to deal with people like that.

And I definitely think Mike is gay at this point. He's not ready to admit it to himself yet, but it's obvious. I think that's part of the reason he feels like it's ok to flirt with girls in front of the guy he's with, because he doesn't see himself as really serious with them.

OMG I was so pissed with this episode. The girls were taking up way too much time with their circular, nonsensical arguments. Mike actually had some interesting stuff going on that was being overshadowed by "you had a bitchy tone" and "you have no right to call me spoiled". Fuck these fucking girls!

Poor Eric... i wish he lived in the house instead of the lame dudes in there. I still wanna see where Mike ends up though.

In the later this season preview, it showed Mike professing his love to who I imagine is Tanner. I'm sorry but he looked like a tacky waxed and tanned homosexual that you see in West Hollywood. eric was a much better catch imo.

I actually know someone on the show - heard there was lots of making out - but that is pretty much a given!!

The next one when Mike's family comes looks interesting. Josh looks terrible. I cant believe he thinks he so hot.

Too much time spent with witchy woman 1 and witchy woman 2 and their back and forth - and it ends with a hug. Ugh!

I know Mike is confused, but he is just the sweetest guy. He tried to explain to Eric and messed it up because he didn't have a clear choice of words or what he needed to say.

Erika HAS been likable so far which is why it was strange to see her being so obnoxious. I just thought that everyone took that particular argument to seriously. There's plenty of reasons to hate Ashley, no need to make them up. Thats the only thing i think Ashley was right about. Erika was right the other part of the time saying Ashley makes everything about her; The apology, The goals conversations etc. Dont get me wrong, I don't really like either of them but thats how i saw it.

I did think it was funny how Erika said "I'd like to give you a hug if that's possible" as if Ashley was some sort of wild monster.

Erika AND Ashley AND Mike are all hot messes. The two former for obvious reasons......and Mike is just so confused and selfish and childish, he think he can just pull everyone into his crazy tornado of a life and it's ok and should be excused as long as he keeps saying the lame excuse/reason "this is all new to me, I'm still adjusting"--BULLSHIT!!

It's ok to "adjust" to you make-believe bisexual life Mike (I still bet a million dolars he is really GAY).....but don't pull anyone's else's emotions in at the expense of you confusion aka DENIAL!

apparently tonight's episode made whoever tweets for Bunnim/Murray cry....looking forward to a good episode

Tonight episode with Mike's family visiting is one of the best episodes for the series. It says a lot about family support for coming out and how important it is that gay people are able to come out on their own terms. I'm a little disappointed with the discussion on this site with finding 'more proof' that he's gay and not bi. This episode should put that discussion to rest. I also value the way the show has represented Mike thus far.

good episode tonight(the Mike storyline, not the Ericka/Josh storyline)....and the aftershow was horrible as usual...but we did find out that something kinky happened between Ashley and Mike.

and I'm really interested in finding out who pushes Andrew off the wall next week...earlier previews kinda make it look like Ty does...but I don't think so...maybe just some random guest or something

I really liked Mike this episode. It was really nice. I think he made a mistake dumping Eric for Tanner. Eric is cuter and Tanner just seems like a dramatic little baby. It was so lame that instead of being a man and talking to Mike he put his hag on the phone to relay the status of his relationship. And she's a dumb bitch for even doing it. Is Tanner in middle school? Mike's family was interesting. His mom was wonderful and so real. It was funny how his brother was still trying to latch onto the bisexual thing and the girls were like whatever.

I felt good about this episode until the aftershow. Then Mike went back to stupid. I thought there would much more about him and the family and the HRC. Who gives 2 shits about Erika and Josh's "music"? Mike still will not let go of this bisexual thing. He wont even admit that he made out with his blonde roommate for his brother's sake. It looked so forced and awkward. Then he starts spouting off about how he could end up with a woman still.

well in all fairness...Mike didn't say he was bisexual on the aftershow...Mark Long did....Mike said at this point in his life he's more attracted to men...but in talking with other gay men, he has a more of an attraction to women and would do more sexual stuff with them then his gay friends would. Granted...yes that's pretty much bi-sexual, but at least he's admitting now that he's more attracted to men.

I mean I totally see myself in Mike somewhat, I'm out as bi to all my friends (no family yet), but pretty much everyone just assumes I'm gay now. It sucks, so I understand what he's feeling. I don't know how it's been being bi for you aijalon, but being bi to me means that yeah though I may be more into guys now, there's still that possibility that if I find a woman I love, I could end up with her in the long run...so hey, If Mike says he's bi....I believe him.

I guess it's not really Mike's fault. I think lot of gay people think kinda bully people into defining their gayness. A lot of gay people act like when you are gay you should be grossed out by pussy and never be attracted to girls. There are a lot of gay guys who are sometimes attracted to girls and could even have enjoyable sex with girls. a friend of mine is that way. He can and has had enjoyable sex with girls, but would never want a girlfriend or wife.

My issue with Mike is his interactions with women seem so forced and attention-seeking and all his roommates can see it. Even his mom said she knew he was gay for years before he told her.

yeah I can see this. It really is pretty forced...like it's just a gay guy making out with his girl friends...so i see the point there.

wow---Mike should go ahead and admit he is gay (or at least bi, with a distant possibility of liking women)---maybe he just needed hi mom's support....that may have been the only thing he was fearing from saying "I am gay" is because he thought his mom wouldn't approve.

Of all the gay/bi men that have been on RR Mike is my all time favorite. The moments with his Mom at the luncheon were truly touching. His drs are always interesting.

I understand him trying to find a definition of his sexuality. It is not always black and white in terms of what one feels or thinks. Nothing in life is. We can think we have a pat truth about sexuality but I think so many think they do and close their minds about the possibilities that everything is more complex.

I love Mike. I don't care what his sexuality is, I just think he is a really nice kid taking step after step to his life and future. That he works with HRC is a high compliment to his life.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Mike is far from the best RW/RR gay ever. Blasphemy. Pedro Anyone? He was amazing. No one will compare ever.

I like Mike too but he is too much of a people pleaser. He never stands up the guys and only criticizes their behavior in confessional. And while all the HRC stuff is lovely. He didnt really seek out joining the HRC and making a difference on his own MTV pretty much set the whole thing up. Mike is the best gay in recent years though.

so....does Ty get kicked off for pushing Andrew off the wall? Cause damn...that was a pretty high fall....people have gotten kicked off for a lot less then that.

"I'm just a man, I can't help myself." - Josh on the subject of cheating.

Please die in a fire.

yea exactly---that was so low-life and crass! I couldn't believe my ears---he is scum and cold-hearted!
