The theoretical ponderings of a journalist that someone (irrespective of who) is gay equates to outing him? Really? Has journalism in the US really scraped the bottom of the barrel?

I looked at his ghastly fashion sense and shuddered.

I don't know if he's gay or not---but the hypocrisy of the rightwing politicians is the most sickening thing about them--the latent gays that are anti-gay, the chicken hawks that love to start wars, taking government funds to support their welfare states, having a government job with all the benefits and being anti-government, it goes on and on so I am not against outing this little homo:lol: if he is in fact gay.

I'm not into outing people. If you choose to live in the closet, that is your business, but you forfeit your right to open your mouth about those who live openly. I don't care what political party affiliation you hold, there are hypocrites on both sides.

I don't know what self-respecting gay would wear such outfits.

When we're talking about possibly gay-themselves politicians who rabidly oppose gay people and gay rights at every turn, it's a huge false equivalency to claim the hypocrisy happens in both political aisles.

Aaron Shock voted against the repeal of DADT, opposes repeal of DOMA, and favors a federal constitutional amendment to prevent gay marriage. He has spoken against gay rights at every opportunity in his career.

All while showering with his male "roommate" and trolling gay bars.

He is an amazing hypocrite, the likes of which only the GOP could stomach.

GOP voters have never cared about how much anyone actually follows through with anything, they only care about hearing the correct bumper sticker stances being given lip service and airtime. That's why Republican primaries are a spelling bee where the contestants get up and try to outdo each other at spelling "Reaganomics" and why Bush won all three branches of government and did nothing substantive on abortion or anything for the far religious right-- and no one who voted GOP really seemed to care or mind.

These self-loathing closet queens are voted into power, then enact legislation to make people's lives miserable. Then some get pissed off that they're outed. Unreal. He's as despicable as Ken Mehlman, George Reekers, Ted Haggard and Larry Craig.

How can you look at him and not see he's a flaming homo.

Well I reckon he's foolish to talk about sensitive, "hot-button issues" like this at a door-stop interview. Experienced politicians prevaricate over the issue or at least take control of the interview process.
