Are you ok buddy?
 
I got the news yesterday that my grandfather is being taken off his pills for his prostate cancer, in light of the fact they're not working properly. He's to go back in 8 weeks or something and if it comes to the worst, he might have to start chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
Just what he needs at his age. Fan-fucking-tastic....
 
Cailean I am so sorry buddy. We'll keep him and you in our thoughts (*8*) The chemo may help though
 
Awww that sucks Cailean. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully the chemo/radio seeds will work though. Treatment for prostate cancer has come a long way.

Cailean, check this out. I may have told you this before. The B-17, B-24, and P-51 will be visiting our local small airport over Sept 12 to 14. It's so cool to see and go onboard these old warhorses.

I may have told you this before, but the Vulcan, the Canadian Lancaster, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and many others are coming to Glasgow's Prestwick Airport in 2 weeks' time (6th September) for the Scottish Airshow.

Yep, I always get up real early when going to airshows, so I can wait for hours, the first at the gate, to get in to stake out the best spot along the flight line. Worth it, imo.

Hello and Goodbye

Due to personal reasons, I'm going to be inactive until September 2nd 2014, at least. The strain is getting a bit too much for me to handle, so I'm giving JUB a break for the time-being.
