There was a 10% overall difference between Yes & No (45% for Yes & 55% for No). Only 4 council areas in total (out of 32 total) voted for Yes (Dundee City, * West Dunbartonshire * , Glasgow & North Lanarkshire).

Hi Cailean :kiss: You're back! I'm glad buddy. I saw your pics of the Vulcan, they're great! It must have been a thrill to see and hear it. I hope they keep the few that are airworthy flying for a long time. They are classic. I know they are very loud, and I'd love to compare them to our B1B Lancer. Different sound but loud!!

Bill, about the Vulcan. There's only one in airworthy condition (much like your B-29 Superfortress, Fifi) and it's not known at this time whether she'll continue flying beyond 2015. She's almost entirely funded by the British public via donations, unlike the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which is a flight of the Royal Air Force.
 
Hi Cailean :kiss: God, I hope they keep it flying. It was always one of my favorites. Oh, I saw Fifi back in the 80's, what a beautiful aircraft.
