Please Guys this is for Followers of Jesus Christ and to those who are indeed wanting to seek the the Word of God through our Blessed Savior Jesus Christ.

What is going to happen when Jesus comes? Some say they will be raptured up and the left behind get another 7 years to repent and follow Jesus Christ.

When you study the word of God you learn this is far from the truth.

We must be ready because when Jesus comes back there are no second chances.

Where will we go? What happens to the left behind? It is not a nice thing for the left behind. I am not talking about a rapture here, please do not get me wrong. The word of God calls this the Resurection.

There are two resurections separated by 1000 years, we have the resurection of the good and just and then 1000 years rule with Christ in Heaven and then the Second resurection after the 1000 years for the wicked.

When does this this hapen?

How do we know this is after the Tribulation? not before ? Matthew 24

Many people, among them some Christians, have been taught to believe that there is only one “general” resurrection of all the dead at the end of the world. This is a serious error which has robbed many believers of joy and victory in this life. Nowhere in the Scriptures are we taught that the bodies of all men will be raised at the same time.



This is a very wonderful topic to study, hours and hours of study i have done on this and I can tell you that the Word of God, Jesus Christ Himself tells us exactly whats going to happen, How it will happen? The signs ? The only thing we do not know is When ? The date is sealed in God's Holy Wisdom alone.

You do not want to be part of the second resurection because what happens to the wicked well it is very very disturbing indeed.

I love your quote - so true. I've been reading books on folks who have these near death experiences. Also pondering evolution and people having a soul.

We were not there when this person called Jesus (if that was his real name) walked the earth. It is amazing how folks can blindly follow a person without knowing anything about them. Since we never met the man we know nothing.

Hollywood and many religions protray this Jesus person as a white man - he was not white. One such example is my own grandma who had suffered 2 consecutive strokes in a row and was left with the inability to speak for quite some time. She tried to talk but the only word that managed to come out of her mouth was the word "dirty". When I was visiting her, by the prompting of the Holy Spirit I kneeled and Prayed in Jesus name. I asked God to please heal her so that she can speak. I had to leave right after that but later that night we got a call from a doctor who was very surprised and excited to inform us that my grandma was speaking in full understandable sentences!

I thanked God for that miracle in tears that night, let me tell you now, I believe in God. That wasn't the only occasion either. I prayed over my moms wounded leg which the doctors had informed her was only going to get worse and it healed...IN SECONDS.

Many times the Holy Spirit prompted me to ask certain people if they needed prayer and it turns out that they were more than willing to accept the prayer (this wasn't in a church or any other Christian based gathering either). At age 17, I had full grown men come to me for guidance on issues of spiritual matters.

Since that time however, I have fallen out of touch with God in massive ways. I no longer feel the Holy Spirit as I once did and it's hard to know that God still loves me. Based on many events from my past, I can not ever deny Christ to this day....I have even tried to set down my Christian beliefs and I simply can't.

The Holy Spirit is like a science that cannot be learned. It is something that you receive after an outstretch of faith towards the unknown: towards Jesus Christ. It will never hurt you to ever attempt to pray to God and ask him if he is real, you can do this in private and in your own head. Ask God if Jesus is the right way to go, truly ask however, don't just mockingly ask. If you have never even tried to PRAY to God, this explains your many failures to connect. It would be like me telling you that I have tried a thousand times to cross the Ocean in my Buick and EVERY TIME it fails!

God is not a God who will mess with our free will and so he's not gonna shout orders at us, not anymore. Pray and ask, "If there is a true God out there, please let me know you are real, I want to know you if you are real. I want to know if there is one true God. Please somehow show me the truth."

If you really pray that HONESTLY seeking results, you WILL get results. His answer won't be some booming voice but it will be certain to your heart. Like I said, it doesn't hurt you to simply go off on your own and ask into the darkness of the night, "God, if you exist, please help me to know you."

The problem with trying to "interpret" the bible is that most people do not read Greek nor do they read Hebrew.

The first section of the bible described a covenant that created a nation or people of God. The "Old" Testament or "Covenant" was not old and remains if one is to believe God is true to His word. It prescribes various actions and rituals that need to be followed to be in a covenantal relationship with God. Problem was the ritual and actions kept getting added to by the religious of the day to the point it was unattainable. If one reads the Hebrew original concerning Moses, it was to be a "lasting" covenant with a people which would be born into and not converted to.

The "new" covenant is described by Jesus as "ever-lasting" and allowed people who were not born into it as Jews (instead gentiles and all others) to be "reborn" and enter into a covenantal relationship. It also ushered in the kingdom of God when Jesus died on the cross.

The bible was never meant to be a history or science book. It described relationships and tried to quantify the nature of that relationship within the limited context of those that wrote and would read it at the time. Imagine if Moses had described protons, neutrons, quarks, dinosaurs, fossils, big bang theory, etc. These were pretty simple people with little access to knowledge; hell most of them couldn't read and write!

The story of Jesus was not meant to be so read. There were no cameras and there were no video recorders that registered everything he said and did. Much of what is written was handed down verbally and only later committed to paper when his followers realized that sitting around and waiting was going to be a lengthy sit. When he spoke of the Kingdom of God, it was from a spiritual sense and not a literal worldly action.

People over time continually try to put all things in a box; even the Catholic Church did for years and is finally acknowledging evolution and other science is easily explainable.

Why does he allow things to happen? Might be because he created all and gave it a free reign. I created two children and I taught them and raised them so I think they will be good adults. They have both rewarded me with love and acceptance (even as I came out and am about to marry today). It is their free will, not something I can make them do.

I think if you picture a God that allows rather than causes, it is healthier overall and results in some answers to questions.

Actually, it is well known why the tsunami hit Japan. Japan, like Chili, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Indonesia, etc, are all known for being prone to earthquakes because they all sit on the "ring of fire", that being the edge of the Pacific tectonic plate. Tectonic plates "float" on an ocean of molten rock. When these plates shift, we get an earthquake. Such massive amounts of displaced mass causes extensive movement of oceans, like moving a large pot back and forth quickly under the water in a sink. That is what causes tsunamis. It is a natural occurrence, yet you seem to feel the need to invoke a supernatural causal agent to it? And in doing so have essentially identified your god as a mass murderer.

Please do not question God for He is no liar.

I don't think you understand that the manner in which you're promoting your beliefs is actively driving people of genuine consideration and human empathy away from them.

You open here with a blatant threat: believe as I believe, or something bad will happen to you. Believe as I believe, and you'll be spared this atrocity. My immediate reaction as someone who assesses positions and belief systems on the basis of their content and veracity is: This is no different from someone holding a gun to your head and demanding they give you their money, give them a blow job or some other humiliating subjugation. Any ideology or position that relies on such a threat/promise dynamic immediately reveals itself as unworthy, as it cannot stand on its own merits. Instead, it requires pandering to base fear and desire to sustain itself.

You then go on to seize on a recent human tragedy like a vulture descending on a carcass, demonstrating not a whit of empathy for those hurt, killed or otherwise inconvenienced by the tragedy, instead utilising it as a means for pushing you belief system, again demonstrating that it fosters inhumanity and a lack of empathy. Why would I, as a reasonable human being, want anything to do with that? Furthermore, you attribute qualities to your purportedly "perfect" God that are anything but; if the best an omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent entity can do to communicate its apparent displeasure is initiate brutal natural disasters that murder and maim whole swathes of people, then one must question whether or not it actually has these qualities at all. Consider: if he is indeed omniscient, then he already conceives of every way reality might conform; those states of probability in which every potential has come to pass. How can he possibly demonstrate displeasure or dissatisfaction at anything if this is the case? Furthermore, being purportedly omniscient, he MUST by nature already simultaneously exist in ALL of these possibilities and potentials, otherwise he is NOT omnipresent, therefore NOT perfect, therefore limited by space and time in a manner we finite mortals are, which should be troubling to any self proclaimed "believer."

This kind of attribution to "God" more than anything demonstrates that the current traditional preconceptions thereof with which we are presented are man made reflections of the species' own particular preoccupations, drives, obsessions and neuroses, and does more to push people towards non belief than any proclamation of non-adherents or non believers such as myself.

2 Peter 3:1-13

3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[a]

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

We as Christians know very well that Jesus Christ did exist on eath, not only did He exist but He died on the cross for us, to those who believe He gave the right to be children of God.

God will not be mocked and these people can say all they like but rememer this, Christ will return, Yes and when he does the evil will be removed off this earth in a flash of fire.

The Bible tells us people will run and beg the rocks to fall on them to hide them from the wrath of Jesus. I can promise you Christians that the power of God is no joke. Even the wind and sea waves obey Him, At His commands they the waves and winds do as He says. Jesus said peace be still when the disciples where on the boat and the big waves were hitting them, today we have big waves yes, but one day the Lord again will say peace be still.

I don't understand how one could WISH for the earth to have destruction brought upon it. Are you so convinced of your own beliefs that you are able to view pain and suffering as a good, hell, as the BEST thing that could possibly happen?

How do you "know" this? How did the knowledge come to you? And, when you answer this question (if you do), think about this...is the process by which you came to "know" this in any way similar at all to the approach that you came to know any other fact?

Is it necessary for you to feel fear of god's wrath to drive you to be what you consider is a good person? You seem to be advising people to believe as you do in order to avoid punishment from god. Is it so bad to be a good person for the sake of being a good person? Is obedience out of fear instead of genuine goodness that much more noble?
