So I'm watching the commercial for this....product... and wonders if it really works. if anyone bought it/tried it. please let me know how it was and if they saw any results... kinda interested in buying one but dunno if it's worth it or not.

Thanks!

No, it's not worth it, don't waste your money.

The buff studs you see advertising the thing didn't get that way from using the shake weight; they did it the old fashioned way, in a gym using real gym equipment.

It's just like those "Ab Belts" that were popular in the early 2000s, promising people they could get perfect six pack abs just by wearing the belt across their stomach with virtually no effort.

They do not work, most people are too lazy to work out and companies use these products to profit off them.

I have not used the ones pictured in the TV ads, however, when rehabbing a recent shoulder injury, the physical therapist handed me a long flexible metal pole, and had me hold it in various positions. She then had me start gently shaking it so that the pole was vibrating and shaking. It was very fatiguing,y so I can see how there is some benefit to them. However, as the previous poster said, they didn't get their buff bodies by using these things.

The shake weight is far too light to be remotely effective. The men's version is only 5 lb. 5 lb. won't get you anywhere unless you're a senior.

Most guys who have never lifted before start off with at least 20 lb dumbbells.

You have one built-in, silly. It is between your legs. Just alternate arms, or one will get bigger than the other. ;)
