So has anyone played this yet?
I downloaded it and payed for it. At first the game would barely load and froze like hell. But due to a new iTunes update my iPhone got completely restored and a bunch of crap that was on it was gone and I deleted some apps and made more room.
It works fine now.
It's really cool making your own sim at first. Although there could be a little more customization. The traits are very interesting too. There is one called "Easily Impressed" that I like and I gave my sim that trait. My sim is like me. Once you start out in the game too you don't build a house like the other games
But you can move stuff around, buy furniture, control your sim by tapping where he will go or tapping an object to interact with. You can also go into town.
There are somewhat mini games too. Like once you buy a stove you actually do an interactive thing to cook. And if something breaks you have to repear it by removing the broken pieces and restoring it with new ones. It's pretty fun. I hear fishing is fun but I haven't gotten a fishing set yet.
Your sim also has wishes. My sim has really wierd ones though. My sim wants to be a slut. It wants to sleep in other sim's bed, use other sim's bathrooms, do wohoo, with sims, and other stuff.
AND YOUR SIMS CAN BE GAY. That's awesome. I hit on a bunch of guys after chatting with them and they refused me. But this older guy in the game did not refuse and now I am his partner. The way relationships work in the game is by chatting, telling jokes, and such a meter goes up. It ranks like "Stranger", "Friend", "Great Friend", "Budding Relationship", "Dating" and "Partner" I'm not sure what's past partner yet. I'm not sure if anyone you have a good relationship becomes your partner too. I donno if the sims supports poly
But that was really interesting. I wondered if the creator thought about gays. You can also get a job too. I work at the Bistro :O. And it's interesting because to cook you have to not only buy the ingredients at the market but you have to buy recipes. You can eat a quick snack but it's more fun to cook. And watching tv is cool too. The time goes by VERY fast though. Sleeping seems to make the time go by faster.
There are some actions like kissing, hugging, and flirting too.
The only problem is that because it's the iPhone version it loads every times you leave your house area, go to town, meet a new sim, go to a sim's house, or do a mini game. But that's okay because the loading times aren't long. A lot of what EA promised to be in the sims isn't available yet. However I think with the 3.0 update coming very soon that the Sims 3 EA told us about will arrive. Right now it feels like it's more than half finished but even at that it's a great game. Kind of pricey though.
You can upgrade your house too.
Now I don't have the Sims 3 yet so I can't compare the two. But I'm sure someone here has both. The graphics look amazing too and I'm surprised the iPhone can handle this much. Oh and sometimes the sims will ask you to do things like slap another sim, kick over their trash can, and things like that. The music in the game is pretty cool too however you can use your own.
But anyways. I am just wondering if anyone has downloaded this, played it, or thought about it. And if anyone has both the PC/Mac and iPhone/iPod Touch version if they can give a comparison.
