So has anyone played this yet?

I downloaded it and payed for it. At first the game would barely load and froze like hell. But due to a new iTunes update my iPhone got completely restored and a bunch of crap that was on it was gone and I deleted some apps and made more room.

It works fine now.

It's really cool making your own sim at first. Although there could be a little more customization. The traits are very interesting too. There is one called "Easily Impressed" that I like and I gave my sim that trait. My sim is like me. Once you start out in the game too you don't build a house like the other games :(

But you can move stuff around, buy furniture, control your sim by tapping where he will go or tapping an object to interact with. You can also go into town.

There are somewhat mini games too. Like once you buy a stove you actually do an interactive thing to cook. And if something breaks you have to repear it by removing the broken pieces and restoring it with new ones. It's pretty fun. I hear fishing is fun but I haven't gotten a fishing set yet.

Your sim also has wishes. My sim has really wierd ones though. My sim wants to be a slut. It wants to sleep in other sim's bed, use other sim's bathrooms, do wohoo, with sims, and other stuff.

AND YOUR SIMS CAN BE GAY. That's awesome. I hit on a bunch of guys after chatting with them and they refused me. But this older guy in the game did not refuse and now I am his partner. The way relationships work in the game is by chatting, telling jokes, and such a meter goes up. It ranks like "Stranger", "Friend", "Great Friend", "Budding Relationship", "Dating" and "Partner" I'm not sure what's past partner yet. I'm not sure if anyone you have a good relationship becomes your partner too. I donno if the sims supports poly :D

But that was really interesting. I wondered if the creator thought about gays. You can also get a job too. I work at the Bistro :O. And it's interesting because to cook you have to not only buy the ingredients at the market but you have to buy recipes. You can eat a quick snack but it's more fun to cook. And watching tv is cool too. The time goes by VERY fast though. Sleeping seems to make the time go by faster.

There are some actions like kissing, hugging, and flirting too.

The only problem is that because it's the iPhone version it loads every times you leave your house area, go to town, meet a new sim, go to a sim's house, or do a mini game. But that's okay because the loading times aren't long. A lot of what EA promised to be in the sims isn't available yet. However I think with the 3.0 update coming very soon that the Sims 3 EA told us about will arrive. Right now it feels like it's more than half finished but even at that it's a great game. Kind of pricey though.

You can upgrade your house too.

Now I don't have the Sims 3 yet so I can't compare the two. But I'm sure someone here has both. The graphics look amazing too and I'm surprised the iPhone can handle this much. Oh and sometimes the sims will ask you to do things like slap another sim, kick over their trash can, and things like that. The music in the game is pretty cool too however you can use your own.

But anyways. I am just wondering if anyone has downloaded this, played it, or thought about it. And if anyone has both the PC/Mac and iPhone/iPod Touch version if they can give a comparison.

Gay Sims have been around since the first version. All my Sims were gay.

I never knew this cause years ago I used to think I was straight. And when the first sims came out I was really young. I remember playing sims vacation and some other expansion packs. But I never focused on romance.

But still. That's a really cool thing. I wonder if the creatures in spore can be gay :O

The Woo Hoo option is always fun in any sims game! :D

Anyways, not too sure about Spore, but I would imagine you can. :)

What is the woo hoo.

Do they mean sex by that? Cause I was wondering. Maybe my Sim really is like me >.>

And I know when the sim uses the bathroom it blurs it. And when a sim is pissing you can't join in :(. And you can't take showers together. The sims apparently can't be kinky. Darn.

I'm not sure if the spores even have a gender. I know in the iPhone version it doesn't specify gender. I think it does in the DS version. I know in the PC/Mac version you can fall in love but it might not be specified. But they can lay eggs so maybe there are male and female spore creatures. Now the question is if they have different sexualities :O

The woo hoo is sex in bed :D I just made two male characters do it for the lols :P

Also, you can download mods for the sims/sims2 that will get rid of the pixels. you can also download modded things for use for kinky things, a good example would be the bj chair :D Just Google sexysims2, should be first link. of course, nothing for the Sims3, 'yet.' give a week or two and you'll see such things coming from the modding community (or a month or two, programing time).

Though, no such mods I believe will be made for the iPhone/iPod Touch versions (though I could be wrong). I wonder how it plays on the devices, I couldn't imagine playing any sim game with out a keyboard and mouse.

I diddn't get the Sims 2 because honestly the trailer was cheezy and stupid as shit.

It showed the age changing thing and than the party and naughty stuff. And that was the trailer. Also it was completely different from what the sims was. But than again I was much younger than and did not understand certain things.

I know they have a whole sim like game called red light which is about sex. I'm not so much concerned about sex in a sims game. But if it's about people in life than nudity, sex, sharing showers, and etc. should be displayed..

BJ chair huh. What about a bondage table :O

Oh it's very possible to do it for the iPhone/iPod touch. People have already modded games. Well not really. But like when you launch a game they've inserted their own image and logo before the game starts if it's a pirated one. So since they can do that I'm sure they can do a whole lot more. And seeing as how there are a good amount of gay iPhone applications out there it means there are enough gay developers who would do it.

Thank god.

I forgot if you use the keyboard arrows to move the sims. I thought they moved on their own and you used the mouse to point and click them.

Well the iPhone does serve as a mouse. You simply poke where you want the sim to go, poke what you want it to interact with, the iPhone keyboard opens if text is needed and so on. EA somehow did it. And it's not a direct port of Sims 3 for PC. Just a version of it's own on the iPhone/iPod Touch.
