So I tried finding a thread for this. Perhaps I fail at searching. If there's one already, this one can be closed :p

Anywho, I was watching clips on youtube, and I got obsessed at the clips of singers on The Sing-Off. Luckily I wasn't too late, so I've been playing the last few episodes of this past season, and I'm just sad I didn't catch on earlier.

So, which season has been your favorite so far? Any favorite groups? From clips I've seen on youtube, I like the all-male group from one of the previous seasons. I just can't think of their name, and I'm a bit lazy to google them. I also like Pentatonix and Afro-Blue from this season.

Pentatonix is amazing... and to think that the 3 of them are only 19!!! and Mitch and Scott are so freakin' hot!!!!!! I really liked the winners from last season too Commitment... another bunch of HOT men!!!!

Loved Pentatonix too. Its amazing how they can fill the stage with sound with just 5 voices. Easy on the eyes too

Urban Method from this season was also good. I liked them cause they also has their own style, like PTX.

I hate to say it, but this season was actually really lame compared to the first two. Some of my favorite performances from the last seasons:

Some really amazing talent on this show. It seems like for this season, they went more for quantity over quality. The whole show suffers because the groups don't really know how to arrange music that well, or don't have the strongest lead voices. It's still better than crap like X Factor and American Idol, imo.

I wonder if anyone has downloaded any of the songs from iTunes? There are a bunch that I really like, but I think the recordings are actually from the tapings of the show o.o

I was kind of hoping that they'd do these versions in a booth or whatever, so you don't hear the audience screaming their heads off. Am I just hearing something? o.o

Anyway, I agree with you nomenclature. I've seen a few videos of groups from the past seasons, and damn are they something! There's always next season :P

I'm still obsessed. I'm sorry XD

I'm liking Mariah's little rap-singing. It is a bit awkward and random to add, but I still enjoyed it for some reason.

AND Pentatonix again. Here they are in Rochester, NY at the Yellow Jackets' concert with Delilah.

Pentatonix just sang at an event at UCLA. You can tell their voices are a bit tired in the beginning...but they still march on.

Candace (3rd girl from left, brunette) from Season 3's Delilah and Season 1's Voice of Lee got married recently. From what I see, there are only three videos up for now. It's nice to see them perform together albeit them being all over the place pitch-wise. I think this was the best performance of the three I saw.

Nick Lachey is going to be a daddy

I heard that, too lol

Here's Urban Method from Season 3. I loved-hated them because one week they sounded so sparse, and the next week full...and then it would repeat.

This song has a nice groove, though. :3 I like it.

Here is Afro-Blue Vocal Band post-sing off. They're all over the place, but I still love them :3 This performance is at Sing Strong. Pentatonix was also invited. I'm sure you can easily youtube their performance.

And Avi from Pentatonix singing opera

hawt.

Reposting the Urban Method song...

Ben Folds, PTX, Delilah, Dartmouth Aires, and I think a few others were over at A Cappella Palooza in Boston last weekend or something.
Candace from Delilah is pregnant. Here's their set.

And here's DA with their Queen medley.

And to add to the thread, here's some old...singprov (not really.:P)videos. Backbeats and PTX

So I doubt that anyone will do this, but if anyone's reading, please sign this petition to, hopefully, save The Sing-Off. There are apparently no plans for a fourth season :(

Petition Save The Sing-Off!

Eh, who knows if signing will have any effect, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

I'm back resurrecting this. I'm sure it doesn't surprise anyone, and I'm sure I'll still be the only one here. HOORAY!
Post-Sing-Off, a bunch of people from S3's YellowJackets, someone from Urban Method, some dude I can't identify, and one of the arrangers for the music created a group called The Exchange.

Delilah went to Holland to compete on a show called Beat the Best. They didn't win, though.

And they recently performed with a few new songs to add to their repertoire.

The recording is terrible, and they're off. But I'm sure it still would've been amazing to be there :p
Someone from Afro Blue singing a cute song.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDDD Pentatonix performed at the pre-show thing at the AMAs.

And here's the whole thing if you want to watch. Pentatonix performs at 23:30

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's back for just the Christmas season. I like this format just because it's on three nights these couple of weeks o.o

VoicePlay ft Honey

I didn't like their first performance, but if they continue performing like how they sang here, I'd love for them to stay in the competition

As you may or may not know, a different feature on The Sing-Off is having an actual Sing-Off. And unlike Season 3 (which had only one), this season's episodes all end in a sing-off. VoicePlay's bass Geoff describes how they prep for the sing-off in this video.

And here's the only country group singing "Ring of Fire"

I wish I could sing that low :(

Here's the opening where the groups perform "Man in the Mirror"

Here's the winning group Home Free with Jewel

And here's Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo with the rest of the groups

And here's Pentatonix performing their rendition of "I Need Your Love" by Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding

There were more performances from Vocal Rush, Ten, and 98 degrees. Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman also did their thing. You can watch the performances on NBC's youtube channel or stream online at NBC.

I have to say, though, I kind of wish that at least once Home Free strayed away from something country-like. I understand they're a country band, but I feel that was kind of the challenge for many of the groups in season 3. Since each episode was a different (or 2 different) genre/s, groups struggled arranging the hip hop or country songs because that wasn't their niche. I liked Home Free, though. THey were entertaining and consistent. I just wish that they didn't always bring that country style. They DO do that country style effortlessly, however. I just keep blabbing. Sorry. I'm hungry.
