In all honesty I don't get rimming and I don't really like it at all.

I understand where you are coming from and all, I remember not getting it. But then I saw a straight guy getting massaged video and I remember getting so hard and turned on when the masseuse started licking his hole. IDK, imagine its the equivalent of licking a woman's vagina. Plus, its the most private and sensitive area on a man so maybe in that sense it adds to the hotness factor to lick it with a warm tongue.

It depends on that type of ass. I work in a hospital and sometimes the smell of ass is not a good thing. Escpically when you are not expecting it!

Also there is the issue of getting too close to the hole when and if it blows (ie. a fart...then you will have a stronger smell and perhaps putrid)....
