The problem here is that you're equating "integrity" with something positive that applies to western morality. It does not. Here, let me Dictionary.com it for you:
adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
Do you see it saying anything about "good" or "evil"? Neither do I. The Taliban DO have integrity, regardless of how disgusting they are. Does the Tea Party have integrity? Hardly.
Now, moving on - can an equation between the Tea Party and the Taliban be found? I put things in context for you in that topic you've linked to, let me quote myself:
In case people are lazy to click the link - you decided to be haughty and dismissive and just refused to respond to this. In some other topic someone had given you a list of goals and "morals" the Taliban and the Tea Party have, with the question to distinguish which belongs to which. You refused to respond to that as well.
I am sorry, but I am having difficulty taking any of your anger seriously, seeing as how the comparison is based on principles and underlying tendencies, while your outrage over it is based purely on "but we don't stone women!" Well goodie for us, but just because the First World has made that illegal doesn't in any way make the people who are in the Tea Party any better than those in the Taliban. Just means they live in a different part of the world and grew up in a different environment. The key point isn't whether they stone women. It's whether they respect women any more than those who do. THAT's where the comparison stops being outrageous.
And that applies to any other aspect of society you might wanna talk about - gays, death penalty, religious freedom, right of different opinion, etc. etc. etc.
OR will you tell me that US right extremists wouldn't bomb Afghanistan same way as the Taliban did on 9/11? Oh wait, you did.

Chance, your disappointed outrage with comments like that is a little misplaced. I'm not saying this from a troll perspective, for once. Think about it. Think very clearly. What do you know of the Tea Party? What do they say? What laws are they consistently pushing? What do they want for the country? Now think what that country is. Now go to the Taliban. Who are they? What do they stand for? What country do THEY come from?
Can you declare with no trace of doubt that his statement is wrong? Or is it that the geographic and political environments are the only thing preventing those right wing freaks from doing the exact same things the Taliban do?
